Tales from the borderlands (how could it affect on TWD)
I never went to the community and didn't read any discussion , but if borderlands gonna affect the developers on making episode 5 of The Walking Dead, i will be so disappointed and ashamed , so please telltale let us end season 2 happily.
I don't mean to offend anyone or any borderlands fan, and don't get me wrong .
I'm a borderlands fan too and I played the previous games ( borderlands 1 and 2) they were awesome.
so let's end the walking dead with complete enjoyment, and continue the rest of our enjoyment with borderlands

The script for e5 would of been done by now and I'd imagine most of the episode would of too. So I doubt it will have any effect at this stage.

I wouldn't mind, the quality has been great on TWD and TWAU, so they could probably handle Borderlands, so I don't mind, either way I'm satisfied.
The quality has dropped to me and TWD2 clearly suffered from rewrites. Providing they can get the whole story locked down before they start making the episodes, I think it should be fine.
The first season of the walking dead also had rewrites. Ben had a different voice actor, Mr. Parker was supposed to survive his leg amputation and he'd replace Mark in secret room (though Mark would have died from the arrow in that instance). You could have travelled between the Motor Inn and the St John Dairy. In episode 5 Lilly would have returned with the RV. Though the rewrites for both TWD2 and TWAU have been much more noticeable.

No, the "fanboys" didn't drop any bomb of sorts. It's already established that Borderlands will be released after TWD is finished, not before.
So, the OP and the others have nothing to worry about.
