Your ending for Season 2? (POLL)

Hi. I made a poll about the ending. I'll just leave this here (yes, I'm aware there have been many threads like this before, but I don't remember a poll)

Of course, we don't know what happens in the course of 'No Going Back' yet, but these are four endings I came up with. If you don't like them, just write a own ;)

    WHAT THE FUCK :O

  • Oh thanks.I voted with the third option :)

    Up now

  • I know it's fucked up, but it would be a feely ending for sure, and at least she won't be torn apart by walkers/shot in the guts/other brutal deaths.

I don't want it to happen, though :'(

  • If we were to keep the painting of kenny's family, I'd want the ending to be where kenny is about to die and you give it to him and he dies with it in his hands.

  • Wait what what the fuck WHAT?

Actually this in intesting in how the medium of video games and other media match up. Having everybody die would be an exercice in futility, and depending on how it's played out, on the will to live (consider McCorrmick's The Road) An ending like that and players were be sad, but also furious, because their actions led to nought. In the case of Season 1, Lee died, it was emotional self-sarcrified because the player had saved Clementine.

What I did say was to go into a bad Wellington, and I think that would potentially be the most awksome game ever - try and form alliances with other characters as they try and rat you out and the such. A constant going back and forth about who trusts whom? I'm reallying thinking a mix if The Pitts from Fallout 3 and John Carpenter's The Thing - not so much the monster but the sense of paranoia.

  • Another cliffhanger

  • I honestly hope Wellington is a good Community with a stable leader. :/

  • I hope so too. Most of the communities we've seen are corrupt and run by villains and I would just like a few good ones.

I don't want them to switch to a new protagonist, I see no need for this right now. Besides I don't want to go through a whole new story from scratch, I just want to continue what we have right now. We have invested so much time and emotion in Clementine.. It would be just.. sad.

I want most of the group to survive (a couple dead from Russians) find Christa, make it to Wellington and find it seemingly empty....

Then suddenly random teleporting plot walkers! They are surrounded by them! Everyone struggles with walkers except Clem who is holding the baby. Clem sees a way out but no one else can come because they have walkers to deal with, and the way out is quickly disappearing.

Clem can run off with baby or put baby down and help someone the person you help will escape! but there is no time left to pick up the baby again...

  • I am sure Wellington will be the Twinkie factory after the Apocalypse.

  • Kenny dies.

  • This sounds like something TT would do. It's super cruel .. * shivers *

  • This is all shit, i wrote a new ending on my own. (Your words, not mine;)

After Luke's tragic and heroic death too save the babies life, Clem, Kenny and the baby arrive at Wellington and it actually turns out that Wellington is a very safe place. But of course they aren't save forever. As a gigantic horde of Walkers slowly but surely approaches them, the baby dies a very unfortunate death. Kenny is deeply upset about this and wants to kill himself. After losing all the persons he loved and cared about, over and over again, there is no hope left for him...except Clementine. The final choice of this Season will be to either let Kenny commit suicide, or stop him from doing so. (The pizza and ice cream decision)

And obviously, Clem will be the Season3 protagonist. That goes without saying.

I actually like the first ending with one difference: Clementine's story doesn't end there. I think ending season on a hopeful note of finding a safe haven would be cool as opposed to misery that's usually all around Clem. We didn't have a good community yet in the game (we only had Crawford and Carver's camp and it's hard to call them good communities. Season 3 could start at Wellington as I think there is some stories to tell even in a good place (actually, in the comics the issues where Rick's group struggles to fit in the Alexandria Safe-Zone and lead a normal life after everything they've done were some of my favourites).

  • Nope.
I had a dream in which Luke died and Kenny survived, I almost freaked out, he can't die!!!!!!!

  • I would gladly let Kenny die.
