Why I Believe Christa is Alive
There is a consistent rumor spreading that the crows in the background stand still as you approach when death has happened, and fly away when it has been avoided/ not occurred. For instance, if you axed Sarita the crows will stand still. However, if you killed the zombie, the crows flew away.
Now, I was replaying 201 and I noticed the crows jump scaring Clementine, and flying away, as you approach the dog. The first few play throughs it meant nothing to me. However, after I discovered the rumor, it makes much more sense now.
To add to this, if Christa was actually dead, why would Clementine have actually asked people about her if she knew. It's not something you can look into the mind of the character, instead you need to look in the mind of the developers. If Christa were dead, the developers would make it so Clementine would have a darker tone to her voice when speaking about her past.
Lastly, one of Lee's dying wishes was to either have Kenny take Clem, Omid and Christa, or find a different family. We know Kenny is alive, and although Omid is dead, I just can't believe the developers would kill both Omid and Christa off in such meaningless deaths.

I have a theory of Lily's survival, but it is a long shot, but bear with me. The first one is Christa made it to Wellington, but with Lily. In 103, Kenny said the RV only had 30 miles left in it. However, Lily said she was a mechanic of some sort in 101, so she could easily fix the RV. The reason why I bring up the RV is because in 204 we see the RV in the trailer park. Whether TT is just fucking with us or it really is Lily I don't know so see we have to wait and see. After Kenny's crazy revival in 202 we know that an offscreen death without seeing a body/ walker doesn't mean anything, and we never saw Lily actually die. If you listen to the dialogue closely, you will notice Clem always says that we left her behind (her meaning Lily after she killed Carley) Clem has said this twice I believe. Some believe that walking that far down to the RV is impossible, but people forget that Russell was walking down that same road for a long time. We know it's the same because we saw Carley's corpse. Knowing that, what makes it impossible? Nothing, especially since the characters mentioned the brush in the road stops the walkers from creeping up on them, and the only danger of walkers are directly behind you. Lily is resourceful, so the walkers directly behind them would most likely be killed with Lily finding a weapon. Determinant characters always have the same fate so we can't prevent a death, but we can delay it for an episode or two. Knowing this, Lily most likely stole the RV after a long walk after the group went on the train. When Lily stole the RV, it seemed she would survive. Now, like I said, we all know a characters actual fate can't be denied, so Lily would either steal the RV or end up in a similar situation where she would seem to survive.
TLDR; Lily is probably alive because we never see her die.
Ok, now back to the actual topic instead of explaining what some might think is fucking crazy. TT loves to fuck with us and they love for us to make double takes when we see a character (ex. Kenny in 202) Kenny's survival was utterly impossible. In fact, we fucking heard him scream and the walkers munching if you let Ben die in 104. I am not sure about if you pulled him up, but I know i heard the walkers munching him in his "death". Therefore, the gunshot where some people thought Christa died doesn't mean shit. Christa doesn't know who Lily is, and they would definitely be a match. Lily and Christa are both smart thinkers, resourceful, and survivalistic realists. They would never argue, and they would get along very well. Considering Christa and Lily both dislike large groups and both like to keep to small groups and hunkering down in relatively safe areas (Wellington) they would both head to Wellington.
To close my theory, I would like to say this is a long shot but I believe that there are too many character similarities for TT to not have done this. Too many overall similarities to ignore.
Edit: Realized something that could be very important. In 202, Luke mentions family as something everybody wants. Christa and Lily both lost family members, and Christa lost her baby. In 101, the cop tells Lee that "People will up and go mad when they believe their life is over." The actual antagonist of S1 was the Stranger, who clearly went insane and believed he had nothing else to live for so he forcefully adopted Clementine so she would fill the void of failed parenthood. We know that these quotes in the beginning of the seasons mean things relating to the plot now, so I believe TT will somehow incorporate the loss of family into Christa and Lily or whoever's mental stability.

I think Lilly could return and that she will not die. How would they do it? She isn't one of those characters who fits with being murdered, nor devoured or bitten.

She never had a death scene. Nothing has suggested she is dead.
Can I ask you... what did Glenn bring to the story? What did Kenny bring to Season 2?

Kenny had something to give, he was the protagonist's friend and was actually useful to the storyline (loosing his family) Lilly we didn't really get to see, and I doubt she'd have anything interesting going on.

She could add to the story in the same way that Kenny could still add to it?
Plus, if Kenny could survive that alley, Lilly can TOTALLY survive her situation.
We know she is a capable survivor. We have no good specific reason to think she is dead.
I doubt she's dead, but I'm positive she's not returning. A cameo is the most she'll probably get.

I disagree. Kenny's relationship with Lee was for the most part determinant. If you disagreed with him like twice he would fucking hate you and would easily let you find Clem on your own even if you showed the bite. I find Kenny and Lily's storyline generally similar, both lost basically everything they cared about. We saw lily completely fucking break down right in front of us so saying we did not have anything interesting to watch is crazy, because it basically set the tone for the rest of the season. I would have thought Kenny's S2 storyline would be boring as well, but it's not.
It was a miracle in finding Kenny.

alright here. Kenny would have basically nothing to add to the story if it weren't for his new, smaller storyline. what makes you think Lily won't have something like that?

Why I believe Christa will die is that there nothing to do with her. Either telltales are going to use her for Clem's angry/powerup by killing her somehow within the new group.

. Yea I said it. I liked her more than Kenny and I believe she was useful to the group (compared to carley who just knew to use a gun and really nothing else).
Lily was definitely a smarter planner and thinker, but her dad got in the way of things. Kenny was actually right when he wanted to hop in the RV because the only reason Lily stayed in Macon was for the pharmacy where there was no food. So Lily stayed just for her dad not for the group.
