How S3 can be the Best Season Yet
Season 2 has been my favorite season, over season 1. I love almost everything about it. Almost. S2 has it's flaws, and they can be easily fixed, and I will talk about all of them.
NOTE: THIS IS MERELY MY OPINION, FEEL FREE TO EXPRESS YOURS IN THE COMMENTS
1) Missed Opportunities. Nick, Carlos, Sarah, Jane if she doesn't return. No, I am not just listing the characters I am sad about dying, because I hat3 Sarah. I left Rebecca out because her story was done, not a missed opportunity. In fact, her story was well told.
Nick could have had the struggle of his obvious depression, especially after Pete's death. After 202, it just seemed like Nick suddenly didn't even give a shit about Pete. He had like 4 lines in 203, and none in 204. He could have been such a meaningful, realistic character.
Carlos could have watched Sarah follow in Clem's footsteps in becoming less of a little whiny bitch and more of a premature adult like Clem. Carls obviously was overprotective of Sarah, and the exposure Clem would give her would frighten Carlos to death, forcing the agony of watching his precious, sheltered, innocent daughter into molding what the rest of the world must become to survive in this world, forcing him to succumb into the agony of the horrors if this world to kill himself. Carlos' death was so fucking horribly written, I can't express it.
Jane, oh man where to begin. We all know the player has the option to become somewhat cold and threatening as Clem. This takes after Janes in many ways. Jane could have been the "big sister" Clem had the dialogue option of saying she always wanted a sister, but after 204 TT made it obvious Jane could have been just that. It's just, I know as a loner Jane would eventually leave, but seriously, it was like hey you're cool, but I have to leave because it's the cliché every fucking loner has to follow.
2)Less unanswered questions. What the fuck happened to Christa's baby? Is it dead, or lost? Is Christa alive or not? Did Lily survive 103? Are we going to forget about the dude near the river asking for water who was obviously with Christa? Fuck, TT, this is unacceptable.
3) Easily the most debated is Clem's return. The people who are asking for Clem to be replaced with someone else, as I've said before in a previous thread, need to stop stroking their ego and be open to new things. TWD isn't about just about zombies. It's actually about the story, the backstory being challenged as each character goes through their own huge changes, especially Clem.
4) More hubs. Honestly, who the fuck is Mike? I love him, he's honestly my 3rd favorite character, but seriously? No character development whatsoever.
This concludes my thread. As I said before this is solely my opinion, and feel free to respectfully disagree but please have a reason why.

Season 3:
If Clementine is playable - choices that Lee made in Season 1 and choices that Clementine made in Season 2 would be able to have an impact on a third instalment.
If Clementine is an NPC - depending on how you influence Clementine's decision, this will create her personality. E.G. If Clementine was nice to everyone, her NPC could be nice as well or if Clementine was bad to everyone, her NPC could be bad. However, choices from the past Seasons won't be able to affect the third instalment as much if Clementine is non-playable.
First, season 1 is infinitely stronger than season 2, both writing wise, pacing, and character depth wise.
Second, not wanting to play as clem isn't stroking our egos, it's about what's best for the direction of the story. No one that doesn't want to play as Clem is saying so because 'zombies'. I don't even know how you came to that conclusion. Clem isn't the only character in TWD universe, and maybe YOU should be more open to new things
Third, yes more hubs would be good. It's another reason why season 1 ended up better so far, helping contribute to the reasons in my first sentence
Welp. Thanks for saving me the rant.
That, uh, sounds a little ironic.
It would be cool if it was longer.
On the "Missed Opportunities" I don't think everybody realistically has the opportunity for closure but it is still a video game and it would make good plot.
All in all,I like the games though.
I respect your opinion but I disagree
Except TWD isn't realistic hahaha
No point debating that. Without stated reasons, it all comes down to preference. It is silly, but I always feel the need to say that I disagree with this. Strongly. You actually mention a lot of the things that diminish my enjoyment.
Variety is good, something the industry needs, but Clementine is not the only choice for a varied protagonist. I personally still want Clementine as PC or as a main character, but to prove a point: That she and her story can be done satisfactorily.
It is still somewhat grounded in the logic of our world and how real people behave. Parts of the current story have made me question that at times, however.
