Rimfire vs. Centerfire

I've heard people talk about there favorite weapons such as a 9mm. And I realized that some people may not know the difference between Rimfire and Centerfire. Although all bullets work about the same, all have a casing, powder, primer, and projectile, the main difference between the two come in where the primer sits. In a Centerfire cartridge such as a 9mm, the primer is in the center of one side, the firing pin hits the primer to ignite the powder that sends the projectile out the barrel. After the use of a Centerfire it is possible to reload the cartridge and use it again as long as it is not cracked or warped. In a Rimfire cartridge such as a .22, the primer is located in the rim of the cartridge. After the use of a Rimfire cartridge you cannot reload the shells because they are permanently deformed. Also with a Rimfire you are mainly limited to small calibers due to the flimsy brass needed to make a Rimfire. There is also a bit of a reliability issue with Rimfire.

Knowing this what would you take into a zombie apocalypse? A Rimfire or Centerfire? Or neither?
