What Telltale game would you want to be made into a movie?

I feel like TWD S1 could be made into a really good movie. What do you guys think?

  • Look, just because The Last of Us and Uncharted are getting movies doesn't mean Telltale's games should too.

But, I would like to see a Monkey Island or Sam and Max movie though.

  • Jurassic pa-oh wait.

  • Do a Puzzle Agent movie!

  • A Walking Dead movie with Lee and Clem would be amazing, it's something that the cinema would totally need right now - possibly a Sam & Max movie too? I haven't had the privilege of playing the games yet, or watch the cartoon. Is the cartoon even good, for those that have watched it?

  • The Wolf Among Us!

  • I'm with prink the wolf among us would be cool. It's perfect for film.

  • It would be an awesome TV Series too.

The cartoon is pretty good (although it takes a while to get used to the voice of Sam if you've played any Sam & Max games before since they go a completely different route with his voice than the noir detective voice they usually go for). It's toned down a bit for kids, and a little girl sidekick named The Geek was added by request of the network, but they do manage to do a lot of things just like the other adaptations (the show's adaptation of the comic "Bad Day on the Moon" is actually surprisingly accurate to the comic that it's based on).

Yeah, I've heard their original voices back when I played Poker Night 2 for the first time. (and probably some other places beforehand)

Anyway, I'll be sure to finally watch the cartoon sometime this weekend. I believe that they have full episodes of it on Youtube.

EDIT: Omg, it was the best thing I ever saw! How I was reluctant to watch the cartoon before is beyond me!

  • Well, I know I don't want a TWD movie. I know and love the game as it is, and I think forcing it into a 2 hour movie would pretty much ruin it.

  • They would leave out the character development if it was a 2 hours movie, or even if it was a 3 hour movie.

  • The cartoon Is SO good! The only thing I didn't like was "The Geek" and it was kind of hard to get used to Sam's voice since he has the same voice as King Koopa from the super mario brother's super show. But for a show aimed more for the kiddies they did a damn good job!

  • A Sam & Max movie by Pixar would be SICK since the creator Steve Purcell actually works at Pixar. :D

  • If an indie studio like Telltale can make a game with such an authentic comic art style, I'd love to see that art style recreated from a high end movie studio that would have more time to brush up and polish the details.

I'm loving it so far, I've already watched 5 or 6 episodes!

  • It's a shame there are only 24 episodes. I actually got the complete series dvd for pretty cheap. :)

There is a Fable movie in the works by Warner Brothers, expected to come out in 2015. Its based off the comics but not the game though.

I'm just watching it for free on Youtube. :)

Then again, you probably already knew that from my above comment, haha.

Is the guy doing it any good commentary wise? If he is, send a link please. I'm curious about Sam and Max as well.

Commentary-wise? You mean the voice actors for the show? They sound fine to me, I'll post the first video below. Hopefully it'll be alright with the mods.

EDIT: Here's part 1 of the first episode!

  • What about Back to the Fu- Oh.. shit.

    Jurassic pa-oh wait.

  • Aern't they basically already movies?

  • Telltale episodes feel way more similar to that of an episodic tv series, take Alan Wake for example.
