What if during the gun fight at the end of s2e4 kenny gets shot in the other eye and goes completely blind and then tells clem to kill him. That would be a very dramatic scene.

if Kenny gets shot in the other eye, he's dead. The bullet will easily tear through his brain. How dead is he? Dead enough that he won't reanimate.
Kind of flawed theory...
If you have read the walking dead comic books you would know that carl gets shot in the eye and lives so it is not a super flawed theory.
Well, it depends on how the bullet enters I guess.
But that would be medically incorrect. It is a comic book though. So it's kind of expected for the impossible to happen.
Carl lives because Kirkman said so, gunshot in the eye, in most cases, penetrates the skull and enters the brain. Frankly, I don't know how Carl survived his gunshot wound. Oh, I know how. Plot armor.
