Fuck IGN, throwaway deaths because the cast is getting too big??? That's not how it is at all. Yet, i'll guarantee they will give Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare a 9.5/10 when it comes out...
Honestly, this was not a good episode. It was sloppy, out of character, and had some immensely disappointing and poorly executed major chara… morecter deaths.
There were so many ridiculous inconsistencies--for example, why does Clementine never mention her experiences with Christa's birth during this entire episode? Why is Luke, who apparently tracked down the group for days without sleep or food, focused and obsessing over his plans, throwing away his inhibition to get laid? And on that note, why is it that Jane (who he barely knew for a day) leaving gets a big temper tantrum, whereas Nick's death just gets, "Fuck. Fuck"?
The deaths are no longer shocking or touching. Sarah and Nick are my favorite characters, but their deaths didn't move me. They made me frustrated. Them being written from the plot strikes me more as if the writers have grown bored of the character's arc and want to get rid of them--on a larger scale, this is how the entire… [view original content]
Downvote me all you want, but I think their score for Episode 4 is still way too high.
Decisions that don't matter - killing an interesti… moreng character offscreen (Nick), making Kenny a jerk who blames everyone for everything, forcing us to choose between two characters who will be both gone anyway by the end of the episode, broken storyline (Carver killed Alvin in episode 2 in my playthrough and the episode states that Alvin stood up to Carver, what the hell?!), adult characters behave like dumbasses (Luke with keeping watch; Mike and Bonnie are searching the museum for an hour and YET it's the Clementine who finds water by LIFTING THE GRATE!) establishing a new group of 'villains' for the final episode about whom we do not know anything (except they're BAD because reasons), ending the episode with the exact same cliffhanger as in two previous episodes - the group in peril (oh, how original).
The story is supposed to be tailored by how I … [view original content]
Yeah...though I don't really care for IGN, I'll still Fuck IGN. Tbh I only really care about my own personal opinion and if it was enjoyable to me or not. IGN doesn't really bother me.
Fuck IGN.
In terms of the Walking Dead, both episodes 203 and 204 were a bit mediocre. Strangely, IGN scored one with a 9 and the other with a 6, so I am confused about their standards.
Hypocrites much? These are the people who hate downvoters and who cannot tolerate people who bash others for opinions yet look at this. 6/10 is a reasonable rate since it was written pretty horribly. Don't blame them, blame telltale for hiring newbie writers.
It's not very reasonable since why did they give Pierre Shorette 9/10?? The cons weren't even very legit, Weak Villians? yeah maybe they were weak because we saw them the last minute?!?

It's their opinion, and mine too. If you want to know why i personally gave it a low score, then go look at previous post since I will not argue and explain myself again.

IGN sucks so hard...I don't even understand why so many people like it, anyway.
Greg Miller is a annoying asswipe, their 'Beyond Broadcasts' or whatever are boring as hell, Greg Miller sucks, they aren't really that reliable, also Greg Miller sucks, they have the worst ratings ever and did I mention Greg Miller sucks?
I still say their review on Bastion is awful, even though they gave it a 9.5, it was for the wrong reasons. They said good gameplay, bad story. That is literally the opposite. The gameplay is good, but it's not really special in anyway, whereas the story was awesome. You can agree with the rating, and still dislike the review.
Gaming website gives a personal favorite game a low score "MAN FUCK THEM, THEIR REVIEWS SUCK!"
Website gives a personal favorite game a high score "What a great review, that's a good website!"
Do you people honestly don't see this?...
A LOT of IGN's reviews are bad, not just this one, this one is just particularly bad.
And it's not necessarily that I disagree with the rating, they gave Bastion a 9.5/10, but the review was still beyond shitty, to the point of me questioning if they even played the game.

Yeah I can understand how it can be the best for some, but for me it wasn't. I think it's because it's just too depressing and the deaths fucked me up but ya. Also I thumbed up your post since i'm glad you're sharing your opinion without being a jerk.

100 more days m8. :P
I think alot of your points are true, but the episodes did have alot of positive aspects to it, not just bad.
So what...if that's what they want to rate it then fine, in the end it doesn't matter
There are alot of positive points in the episode. If there were no good things in the episode, sure of course it has too much of a high score.
You'll still what IGN?

looks like telltale didnt pay enough money that day
The truth behind why IGN rated it a 6
And who the hell hired Greg Miller?

Thypical fake account.........
It's not a fake account.... I edited the text.

It wasn't great, but gameplay wise, it was better than 203 by a long shot.
That's why I use metacritic instead of just one review site.

Both episodes were so fucking fantastic, but especially Amid The Ruins.
IGN can really all out go fuck itself. Everyone are entitled to their own opinion, I know, but a 6/10?! Unacceptable.
I kind of agree with some of their points, but 6 is a crappy review.

I think it's the best episode of either Season. :P
