Most messed up choice you made so far

In The walking Dead Season 1 and Season 2. The most fucked choice I made was to watch Carver die, I hated him and would have done it myself.

  • I feel like taking the Stranger's things was pretty messed up.

  • I never stole from him and he still treats you like a jerk. So at this point i could care less what happened to his son, daughter, bowling ball head wife. They could all live in a shoe for all i care.

  • Stealing from Arvo and helping smash Larry's head to prevent him from turning.

Leaving Sarah. Didn't actually choose that particular choice. But it is so far the most messed up thing in the series so far.

  • I think they're talking about the stranger with the station wagon in season 1.

I stole him the first time and didn't even give a shit.

  • I shot Jolene.

Season 1 had some pretty messed up ones. Choosing whether or not to give the girl a gun so she could kill herself, choosing whether or not to smash Larry, and choosing whether to kill the screaming girl or leave her as bait in order to scavenge.

As for Season 2, I'd say watching Carver get beaten or not and leaving Sarah or not.

  • If you remember at the beginning when the cop was driving lee to Jail, He tells a story about some guy who kills his wife, then he makes a comment about how people "it goes to show, people will get up and go mad, when they think their life is over."

    Stranger
    Lilly
    Kenny
    Katjaa

Recurring theme. Any suggestions on what the theme was for season 2.

He was messed up in the head.

  • Smashing Larry's head in.

  • The most messed up decision i have probably done is help Kenny kill Larry.. What can I say? I panicked big time.. I thought Larry would come back and kill one of the group members.. or get Clementine killed.. But every decision I made has been the kind compassionate route as Lee and Clem.. As soon as Arvo was begging for his meds back I knew that the kind thing to do was to give them back, It comes naturally.

  • Do you care if I make a thread about this? That's really cool.

  • I left Sarah.

From a cinematic standpoint, she dies a much more interesting death, but I regretted the fuck out of that scene. Pretty brutal.

  • I left Beatrice to get eaten, I mean, we needed supplies. I have to say that's one of the decisions that made be kinda feel bad.

  • That's true

Axing Sarita in the head, I know it had to be done but damn did it look brutal!!

  • My Lee made a few bad choices (didn't kill Beatrice, stole supplies, left Lilly, killed Larry), but the only choice that sometimes makes me feel bad is killing Larry.

  • You can actually avoid it if you convince Kenny to leave in time.

  • s1 - smashing Larry's head in
    s2 - leaving Sarah behind

  • Some choices I would say would be dropping Ben and Leaving Sarah during the second half - both in my main playthroughs.

  • Leaving Sarah to die on my canon playthrough made me feel incredibly guilty. A couple of things Clem did afterwards like stealing were pretty fucked up too.

  • Its funny how this is only a game, but yet we really feel actual guilt over our choices if they aren't good.

  • You can completely avoid it if you don't cut Sarita's arm off, which I thought was my biggest mistake.

  • i instantly regretted shooting the chic in the head that just had the baby while we were surrounded by the German's.

  • Most messed up decision: Leaving Beatrice to get eaten and turn to scavenge some supplies. Ya know... while listening to her screaming. It would have been a much harder decision if it was a kid, but... I'm glad it wasn't a kid. I made the right choice, putting a group over one person(that would die anyway)... I just felt messed up for doing it.

Close second: Cutting off Sarita's arm off, trying to convince Kenny to leave, and then axing Sarita in the head.

Third: Leaving Sarah behind to die. A dead weight that I thought was going to cost someone's life(the time I saved her I thought would get Jane killed), and that wanted to die anyway. It wasn't morally right to give up on her, but in the survivor view, she wasn't going to last in this world, so why drag her along?

Optional third: In my second play-through of Season 2 episode 2, I let Walter kill Nick because I thought he'd end up getting someone else killed. This was before we all found out saving Nick didn't do any harm(or anything, really).

I decided to give my input and do top three choices, for fun :P

  • Any suggestions on what the theme was for season 2

Jessica Brezzo, the lead animator, said the main theme is trust.

  • The one's I've chosen? Letting the girl outside the pharmacy suffer and leaving Sarah behind.

  • nope, i'm pretty chill.

  • Well, i can't remember my messed up choices in season one (except killing Larry).. but in season two: slaping Sarah (still feel sorry about this one) and killing Sarita.

  • I feel like the "people will up and go mad when they think their life is over" related a lot the bandits.
