Illogical Season 2 Episode 4 Death Scenes..

I'll only be talking about Clementines death's.

Have you seen how illogical most, if not ALL these are?

Jane herself says that she cant bare to see what her sister went through, yet easily abandons clementine the second the zombie grabs her.
Season 1, I understood if some ran away if Lee was being attacked, it was the start of the outbreak, people were scared... be Jane running off? what for? you're 2 years into the fucking outbreak and are a cold, hardend zombie killer. What are you doing?!

Also, what's with the group just standing there and watching Luke and Clem die?

How does a Zombie break out of Mike's grip, ignore him and dive at clem?

Why does the zombie bite Clementine instead of Bonnie?

Why are some of the death scenes, not actually death scenes and just freezing on Clementine being sad, or scared?

I loved episode 4, but come on...

  • Jane says see can't bear to see what her sister went through, Clems about to die, she couldn't bear to see it... The death scenes might freeze on Clem's face because she's obviously going to die in the next few seconds. It's also not like the group could do anything if Clem and Luke were already being devoured by walkers

  • On non-canon death scenes, characters forget to use their weapons and get either killed/ bit.

  • The freeze frame shots, Clem could easily run off. Why not just show the death? pretty stupid.
The Walking Dead always had the issue of people just sitting there and watching you die, instead of doing something... I dont know why, I guess it's Telltale's style.

The group could of done something, they were standing just a few feet away, They had weapons.. they could of hit them. As Megami said. All knowledge of what a weapon is during death scenes just immediately fades from a persons mind.

I don't really think non-cannon death's are meant to matter that much, since most people wouldn't die to simple qte's, most of them are just there in case someone does die to those qte's.

  • Now we are complaining about non canon deaths?

I'm sorry but why does it matter?

You're saying you don't like how the Walkers target Clementine but then you are upset when Clementine doesn't die? What?

  • Now that you mention it, I don't think I died once in episode 4... I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. QTE events really aren't the point of the game (for me at least) but still, no deaths makes it feel a bit odd.

Though, in the cases where it isn't a half downed walker, it makes you ask, "why the neck? why always the neck?" You think a zombie woudn't think to bite somebody in the face, shoulder, or other easily accessible body part?

  • To that first link it Seems like Clem gets neck fucked a lot. That's probably about the worst place you could get bit. 0_o poor thing.
