As far as the ending goes, it was the work of some bastard who used a press copy. Luckily for him, he apparently lives in Iraq, so he ain't … morenever getting caught.
As far as the choices go, they barely put any security in it at all, and they put the choices in the Episode 3 .exe file, IIRC . Anyone could have easily haxed it something like that.
Yeah, it sucks that major bits of Amid The Ruins got leaked. I don't know why some people have to be complete pieces of shit and spread them across the forum.
The worst part? This game company isn't to blame. No, this isn't me being an apologist like what some of you who don't even know what the word means keep calling me. They're doing what they've been doing since they first started. They've done nothing wrong.
Unfortunately, the only way to avoid anymore potential spoilers is to stay away from the forums. We shouldn't have to worry about stupid shit like this, but sadly we're at the point where precautions have to be taken. If you go on the forum days before the next episode by Telltale is released, there's a good chance that some scumbag hacker is going to fuck it up by spoiling some things for you.
Would it be nice if Telltale Games did do something to keep this from happening again? Of course. But like I said, it's not their fault that people who seem to have all the time in the world hack into the network and spoil shit for us.
Yeah, it's like people blaming them for the time that it takes for MS and Sony to certify the episodes; it's something that is out of their hands. Here's hoping that they are able to do something about it, since that person is planning on doing the same for No Going Back.

I saw the video linked on Steam TWD forums but i didn't watch it. I avoided the forums after that until the release date. It was tough, in my opinion just don't watch/read anything with spoilers and you should be ok.
well I talked to somebody who knows about this and they confirmed that they fixed how the person downloaded it early so that's okay. Also, they fixed the info in the files so I'm sure episode 5 is safe as hell.
I found the video before it got posted to the forum and i let them know about it immediately, me and the other mods did as much as we could … moreto remove all spoilers but some still got through before we had chance to remove them unfortunately . Hopefully it shouldn't happen again.
I hate spoilers...When I heard that people were leaking information about episode 4. I stopped entering the forum and only returned after playing EP4. many people had to do this.
This is not just a game....... IS... THIS.... SPAAARTTAAAAAA!
Seriously though, how hypocritical of you. You're telling me to get a life when you are probably behind a computer giggling because for you insulting people over the internet is edgy.
Dude it only got leaked a few days before release, so it's not a big deal. Leaving the forum for a day or two and getting some sun and fresh air won't hurt you, I promise.
I was more talking about the choices which were leaked about 2 weeks after the release of episode 3.
I think because of how this was written you guys think I'm just some troll who lives on the computer 24/7. I don't, I love sports and and going places and all that. I wrote it a little on the dramatic side.

Seriously? This is Sparta? That reference is getting close to a decade in age.
This game is not a big part of my life, nor the forums, because I don't take it seriously. People like you, on the other hand, do indeed need to get a life. Or, at the very least, some perspective. It's just a game. If I did have the spoilers for episode 5 I would post them here just to know I've ruined your day with minutia.

I can sort of say that is is annoying being a writer or a moderator for a site especially a gaming one..I was a writer for a popular Zelda website around when Skyward Sword was releasing and I was told all the spoilers in the Skype chat due to the fact I had to report on news, help with the guide, etc, etc.. Of course it was a requirement to be in the Skype group, and I was told ahead of time about there being possible spoilers in the Skype group.
I did pick up Skyward Sword and only got spoiled on the first half
I honestly am fine with spoilers and will risk my enjoyment out of a game if the job requires it. I am not buttmad over spoilers in video games, anime, manga, movies, etc.
Calm down, it was a joke. (and you said I was the one who is very butthurt)
You don't know me though, unless you have been tracking my every move. The context of this thread does not a should not determine my social and outside life beyond this forum. It honestly would not ruin my day, go ahead release them I honestly don't really care. I personally saw the episode 4 spoilers anyways and I didn't freak out. I understand it's just a game, I mean that is an obvious fact. The fact you are saying I have no life yet you are insulting me online... maybe you should take a good look in the mirror.

Yet you are the one saying that telltale needs to do something to stop the spoiler leaks. If you didn't have such high emotional stakes invested in the game, you wouldn't really care one way or another for the spoilers. Hell, I read the choices leaks, and I watced the leaked videos of episode 4. I couldn't care less if it was spoiled because it's just a story and there'll be many others in the future.

I wouldn't even be hacking to get it, it was practically put there for people to find it.

Good thing I don't come to the forums that much But they shouldn't be doing that.
The problem with me is im too addicted to these forums to leave xD
Well no choices have been leaked yet so that's a good sign you are correct.
Isn't it kind of annoying to be a moderator sometimes because you have to see and delete every single spoiler?
I hate spoilers...When I heard that people were leaking information about episode 4. I stopped entering the forum and only returned after playing EP4. many people had to do this.
Getting a life might help you with this serious case of butthurt you have. For god's sake, it's just a game.

If that happens,I'm getting off the internet until episode 5 is released.

Keep on projecting, buddy.
