Well I could also counter your argument with why did people like Carley in episode 1? How much did we even know her then? Just because she has boobs and seems nice that's it?
Mike appeals to my sense of humour and to me at least he reminds me a small bit of Lee,I think he needs a chance to prove himself to everyone else
Yeah Mike seems realistic and very much like a team player. He just wants to be accepted and respected as a viable member of the group. He reminds me of me sort of
People like him.
Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I liked Carley because the fact that she knew about Lee's situation and yet didn't want to tell anyone was quite interesting to me, and I found the whole thing with the batteries and the radio amusing and it made her seem more three-dimensional, and we were given at least some backstory in regards to her being a reporter and such prior to everything else, which is more than we've ever had for Mike. Plus, she seemed nice.
I don't dislike Mike by any means but I find it hard to care much more about him than I did, for instance, Mark or Vernon, given the lack of real development he's had.
Thats always the type of human you want at your side during a apocalypse or any survival situation

Because in games like this if you wait to like a character only until they get character development or learn their back story, they're probably dead by then.

But so is Lee
I like him because he's a cool character and reminds me of Lee.
He's a sweet guy who is an all around likable character. He could use more character development though. He resembles Lee in quite a few ways.

Only thing I hate is that he shares a name with my dad, who I don't get along with very well.
But we like him because he seems pretty darn realistic, he's funny, and we're ship him with Bonnie. We all now he carried those jugs by himself just to impress Bonnie. XD
