For you, the first playthrough is important?

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

As the title suggests:

Without the first playthrough, you can manage to play TWD? Or play it after seeing him play another? Or if you lose your first playthrough during the game and you are forced to replay it, you would do it?

I mean if, for example, you lose your first playthrough, your gaming experience would be the same as playing with others?

  • I don't completely understand your question, so I'll answer the last one.

Yes, if I lose my main (or first) save, I will replay it. But, frankly, I usually have at least two save games simultaneously.

  • Yeah, i know... my english is bad xD

  • You mean if my experience would be the same? No, of course not. It only feels like the first playthrough when I discover something I haven't discovered before. If I play through a part that I played half a dozen times already, it wouldn't feel like the first playthrough.

I try to keep the first gameplay as much as I can, I think it adds a certain value, and even creates a certain psychological pressure that I find interesting. of course there are some things that make me go back to a certain chapter and re-play the entire sequence again. but in a general scope, my gameplay is still the same since S1.

And I'm happy with my decisions so far. I hope to achieve the same result in the last episode! (This is something that I tell myself every time a new episode is about to be released. rsrs)

  • you do not feel guilty to rewind a chapter (which will affect your choice)? :D

  • I wouldn't say guilty. but I certainly would be bothered to re-play several times a chapter. and it never happened. the only time I had to re-play an entire chapter again was the EP4. when I knew there was a line of dialogue in which Clem tells Kenny that she had to shoot Lee. This made me turn the EP from the beginning and that scene was worth it completely!! was one of the best moments of EP4 in my opinion!

Obs: all other choices from the my previous gameplay were maintained. ;)
