Do you like how the episodes ended in Season 1, or Season 2?

One thing I have noticed is that all the Episodes in Season 2 end with Clementine in immediate danger, while Episodes in Season 1 ended on a more calmer note.

Season 1

Episode 1: Ends with the group safe at the motor inn
Episode 2: Ends with the group safe returning to the motor inn (video of Jolene as well, but that did not put the group in immediate danger)
Episode 3: Ends with the group safe on the train
Episode 4: Ends with the group mostly safe in the morgue... even though Lee was bitten, no one was in any immediate danger

Season 2:
Episode 1: Ends with walkers chasing Clementine + Pete/Nick
Episode 2: Ends with Clementine and the group being taken hostage after members are murdered, with Clementine possibly getting a gun pointed to her head
Episode 3: Ends with Clementine in the middle of the herd after a group member is bitten and you face a difficult decision
Episode 4: Ends with a huge gunfight erupting between the group and the Russians

I like how the episodes end in Season 2, but I feel like it makes the wait for the next episode harder especially when the episodes are shorter. It was nice in Season 1 because you didn't really know what to expect in the next episode especially when it ended with the group returning safely.

  • When i say bad ending, i don't mean it's a shitty ending and i don't like it, more that it doesn't look good with the group.

Episode 1: Safe at the motor inn, but lights went out. (Fine ending, not bad as they're safe)

Episode 2: Free from the cannibals, found a station wagon full of food. (Good ending, no more threats and they got food)

Episode 3: Near Savannah, near boats, Stranger tries to call Clem. (Not a very good ending as they got a threat, but fine that they're near the ''boats'')

Episode 4: Clem's gone, Lee's bitten, Walkers coming. (Bad ending, Lee's going to die and he don't got much time)

Episode 5: Lee's dead, Clem's alone, Clem's parents are walkers (Bad ending, our Lee died, a 9 year old girl alone in a zombie apocalypse and her parent are dead.

Episode 6: Pete's dead (Determinant), Nick running off, walkers chasing them. (Not a good ending, as someone dies (determinant) and the flesh eaters is coming.

Episode 7: Walter's dead, Nick's dead (Determinant), Alvin's dead (Determinant), taken as prisoners. (Bad ending, as they're prisoners and some of their people died)

Episode 8: Carver dies, Troy dies, Carlos dies, Sarah runs of, Sarita gets bitten / losing an arm (Good and bad ending. Good because Carver's dead, bad because more people dies and gets separated)

Episode 9: Rebecca dies, cold weather, angry russians shoots. (Bad ending, as Clem is in the middle of the gun fight, but it's lucky she's so little. The baby's mother dies and cold weather isn't good, in the middle of the zombie apocalypse)

Most of the endings are sad or they gets into problems.

  • i really enjoy Season 2's cliffhanger like endings,

  • I think I prefer the slower, more subtle "What do we do now?" dread of the Season 1 endings than the fast-pace, intense "What the fuck just happened?!" horror of the Season 2 endings.

  • Well... I guess I'd like something in-between. Variation, you know.
