But if they made it about the cubs, it would have to be either, during the Comics (meaning it would be even more limited) or after the comics. It would be fine for a DLC but for a Season 2 it doesn't really make much sense. We still got some questions at the end of Season 1 that were left unanswered...
I love Bigby and love playing him but I think the real selling point of this property is that it has so many characters and so many directions it could go in. I dont want them to limit themselves.

If all they release is a DLC, what would you guys want it to be about? Personally, I want them to just answer all these lingering questions from Cry Wolf - where is Jersey and Tweedledee, was Faith Nerissa all along or was Nerissa Faith. Or was Faith Faith and Nerissa Nerissa?
I know this is kind of off-topic, but guys I was wondering something. So I just read the first issue of fables you know the one about Rose's "murder" and I just gotta ask is snow an annoying b**ch or is it just me?

Besides a glitched achievement Wolf wasn't my cup of tea. Walking Dead is waaaay better. Your decisions actually matter and the content is interesting. Every Wolf release was met with a sigh of bordom for me
Huh, your choices "actually matter." Well, in s2, I haven't made a single choice I felt has impacted me in a big way. Wheras in Wolf, every decision you make either comes back to haunt or help you in the trial.
And Wolf is far from boring. Though the episodes were short, they were always filled with action.

I just made it to issue 22(read like 18 issues overnight I'm addicted lol) and I'm really starting to like her and Bigby is just as awesome in the comics.
I understand that everyone has their own opinions, and that some people like different things than others. In my opinion, TWD Season 1 and TWAU was equally just as good, while TWD Season 2 takes the last place. But to be honest, I'd rather see a sequel for TWAU than ANOTHER sequel to TWD.

Thread: If they make a Season 2 should it take place AFTER the comics instead of before?
For those who don't know the Fables comics are ending at issue #150 (We are at #142 now) which means their are only 8 more Fables comics to go till its over.
I was thinking once its over maybe TellTale could continue the Fables story from their like how they had their Back to the Future game take place after the Movies.
The only drew back is that this may alienate the non-comic book readers a bit since its a huge jump forward and they may wonder why characters like Mr Toad, Bluebeard, and Jack are not in the game. Also you need to explain who the wolf cubs are and explain why Winter is so powerful and why Therese is older then the rest of the cubs etc.
But i have to ask what would all of you think of this?
After the comics will make it much easier for them to go with canon, but at the same time it will confuse players who have no knowledge of the comics. And Telltale likes to set up their series so you don't need to have any prior knowledge of another series to play one of theirs. So it would be easier, but I don't see Telltale doing it for the sake of their fans who haven't read the comics.
Prequel is better and they have 20 years to work with so I don't see it being such a big deal. Whatever they do is fine with me, as long as they just make more Wolf
Either way should be fine at this point, Telltale did a great job with the Book of Fables. So if people are confused about something in season 2, they can just check there for references.
Yeah that's good have a Book of Fables/Fables encyclopedia. It will have to be a lot bigger than Book of Fables more of an encyclopedia like what BioWare has done with their games with the Codex.

I'd be fine with ethier now that I'm reading the comics(at issue 38), but I would prefer it to stay as a prequel so fans of season 1 would get whats happening and because i liked Bigby as sheriff. They could also do a prequel/sequel were we are playing after the comics, but their are Segments of the game where you play in the past.
I like DragonButter's idea about just using a Book of Fables/Fables encyclopedia like what BioWare has done with their games, Like the codex from Mass Effect to help non-comic readers understand what is going on.

You mean when Snow and the cubs went to the farm? I think all he did in that time was run around in the woods with other wolves hunting monsters and after that he spent his time with Sarah Tanaraq. I don't think you can make a video game about that.

That's not a big suprise, since this game already deserves most of the awards that the world has to offer. Seeing as IGN even rated it fairly well (IGN is not exactly known for being truthful) I think that has to count for something...
Oh I know that. I'm reading the comics, and I'm up to like issue 55. But I believe there is a time where he leaves Fabletown for a while later in the comics, but I'm not too sure.

That's... rather disturbing. But I'm sure we appreciate your support. >.<

I was half joking about the cubs but I think they could do something with Therese and Winter, both leaders.

For some reason I found her character kind of humorous in the first issue.
Well I did like her better than beauty and beast. Also I know thats the point but how big of a douche is charming lol cockminship xD
Does the Pope shit in the woods?
So.......no?
It's a yes.
Yeah lol. He does get a little better though (from what I've read so far).
Ha GTA San Andreas.
Yep, I think the most logical thing for a DLC would probably be about answering all of the questions Season 1 has left us with.

Goddamit Ben

And to those of you who don't know, The Wolf Among Us has been awarded 'Game of the Month' honors for July from both IGN and GamesRadar!
I'm on issue 50 now and Snow is one of my favorite characters. You learn to really love her.
Get out Carver.

Even to this day, Cesar STILL doesn't know the answer to that. XD

tHats fine if it wasn't your cup of tea but I challenge this idea that none of the decisions matter. I wonder what that means to you.

Or they could just have like a 5 minute "For those who came late" cutscene thing. But I'd prefer a prequel, just saying.

How about a spinoff? Bigby disappears for some time throughout the comics, so instead of a whole prequel/sequel thing, we can have a spinoff season.

'DragonNutter'?
EDIT: Alright, you edited it. Still, that was pretty funny.
I would perfer before the comics. If they had S2 take place after the comics there would be spoilers EVERYWHERE! flails arms

I would definitely be okay with a second season, I loved the first one.
