Maybe we don't NEED season 2, but we definitely WANT a season 2 and if telltalegames are smart they'd listen, considering their is alot of people who want a season 2 and they'd make a boatload of cash off it.
Episode 2 wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as the others, but besides that I agree with everything else you said. Hell I love the wolf among us more than the walking dead BOTH seasons.
1) At least for me, it was the best game Telltale ever made (if you didn't like it, that's your opinion).
2) Episode 2 might have been ba… mored, but I don't see how it could make you stop caring about the characters, and the game itself, if you were a true fan of it. And what was bad in Episodes 3 and 5?
3) Fables may be a great comic book series, but it's not a season two. There are many countries that don't sell it, and a season two would add even more stories and characters, so why not have one?
I agree. Wolf has been the only thing to get Fables more fame than anything, considering the writer feels that making the comics into a TV show would make it go against canon too much. If the writer (Bill something) was smart, he would know it is a good idea. If Telltale was smart and see how much demand there was, then they should know it is a good idea.
Actually i think we do need a season 2.
You see the truth is the Fables comics do not actually sell that well their not even on the top 1… more00 on the monthly best seller lists. The Wolf Among Us helps promote the Fables franchise because Video Games are way bigger than Comics these days and if they do some day make a Movie or TV show of Fables the makers of those shows or movies should take more notes from The Wolf Among Us than the Fables comics because The Wolf Among Us is what the Fables franchise is best known for now.
Episode 2 was the most heavily affected by the major rewrite of the season, which is why it wasn't as good as the others. According to some people who found out about the original plot, if the season hadn't been rewritten, Ep.2 might have been the best one :O

I can honestly say the wolf among us got me into the comic now I can't stop reading them. If Mr.Willingham is smart he'd allow a season 2 considering season 1 got so many people into the comics. If telltalegames are smart they'd see how big a demand there is and how much potential season 2 could have. In season 2 they could introduce some big characters like king Cole, charming, Cinderella, Rose, or even Hobbes.

The Wolf Among Us doesn't need a season two because you only got to see things from Bigby's perspective
I don't see how that's a problem? There are still a lot of things that can be explored, and I'd also like to see more of Bigby as a sheriff(he gave up his position rather quickly in the comics). And since you mentioned Cinderella, she could easily be Bigby's sidekick. She helped him in the comics quite a few times, and like you said, she's barely been in Fables. Making this a perfect opportunity for her to appear...it's also quite obvious that Telltale had plans for her at some point during this season(you can see her model in the intro).
Fables is such a wide universe, so many characters and stories to tell.
I think we can all agree on that:). And in case you haven't noticed, a lot of people wish for Telltale to tackle the Fables universe at least one more time. Sure, a lot of them(including me) wish for Bigby to remain the protagonist, but I don't think we will mind if another protagonist is revealed.
I never said I don't want a season two. I just think it doesn't need a season two, it ended in mystery, let people speculate and make theories rather than waiting around to find out.
Season two would be sweet if it hit closer to home, had characters who actually exist in the comics, and different protagonists.
Wtf you started this thread to say they shouldn't make a s2 and now you are commenting on what characters they should add in s2.
Glad you changed your mind... I hope

No, thank you:). Still, pretty much all the responses here have been reasonable...there's no need to single out mine.
But there's only so much you can put into 5 episodes (Fairly short episodes, at that).
Yeah, I agree that TWAU would've been a whole lot better than it already is if the episodes would've been longer, or at least consistent in length like TWD(around 90 minutes). However, I do believe Telltale noticed the fans criticism about the episode's length and I'm pretty sure they will make things right with future releases. One of the perks of episodic content, I guess. Sam & Max is an example of them improving certain aspects of the game in regards to feedback.
True, I greatly enjoyed those issues with him as the sheriff, especially the certain event with the journalist. Bluebeard was a surprise for me as well .
Oh, and you might put a spoiler tag on that:). Just for good measure.
A season 2 shouldn't answer the lingering questions from Cry Wolf. It would be way too hard for them to drag out those answers throughout 5 episodes. A DLC would suffice and be great to answer those questions.
But I agree on at least one thing you said. They need to bring in characters like Cindy, Rose Red, Boy Blue, and we see more of Flycatcher and Jack.

I think Bigby was tired of all the shit he was receiving, and the breaking point was that he couldn't even live with his kids. And I was happy Bluebeard died, even if it was early.

Yeah true and yeah I was happy bluebeard died, but i was just shocked it was so early.I've been missing Bigby though he's been missing for like 10 issues now.

That's a bit harsh, don't you think? Like the people who play TWD, we got attached to Bigby. I mean, who wouldn't? This is a guy that you can safely call a badass(I rarely use that word). However, we aren't at the "No Bigby, no buy" point. You pointed out in your OP the people who think Cinderella could be the protagonist, that alone proves people just want more about the Fables universe in general.
pretty much all the responses here have been reasonable...there's no need to single out mine.
I disagree. I see now The Wolf Among Us forum's equivalent to "No Clem, no buy" is "No Bigby, no buy".
I thought it was "Storybook Love?", because its the same volume in which he tricks Snow and Bigby to go off together. I'm not sure, you might be right.

Glad to see you agree. I decided to re-read it recently, and all I could think about is how they can add a scene like that in the game, but the context to be different. I'm talking about when Bigby & Co go to his apartment.

I am prepared for all of the hate I'm going to get for this, because everyone in TWAU forums can't accept that it wasn't a stellar game, not even one of Telltale's best...
This is the kind of thing I hate. I can't accept that it wasnt a stellar game because you say so? Your opinion is not law. As for not needing a season 2, you said what I already said as a reason for why a season 2 would be possible. Because it's such a vast world with so many characters. Why do you think Bigby is the only option? I read all the comics, even most of the ones from the spin offs so Im just as big a fan as you and I was perfectly satisfied with the game and with a little imagination and ingenuity, Im confident that they can do a season 2 that would be just as good as this one.

This. I really hate when people say that kind of comments and claim it's a fact. Plus from what I have seen, TWAU has actually gotten a very good response so there's definitely demand for it. Just today I read a new issue of this Finnish gaming magazine which reviewed the whole season (90 points out of 100). The guy who reviewed has also read all the comics up to this point and he actually vastly preferred TWAU and hoped for a season 2.
Saying that season 2 doesn't need to happen because of the comics is like saying Walking Dead games aren't needed because they are based on comics. And no, it doesn't change anything that TWAU uses some pre-established characters. There's still many, many themes and characters we can tackle. Also, a game and a comic are two different mediums which reach different audiences and operate on different principles. I don't get why the hell we couldn't have different adaptations of this world. Especially since TWAU has already proven it can bring plenty of fresh stuff on the table. It's not "just a game version". It actually expands the universe.

Yep, Telltale needs to take a break from the zombie genre for a good while.
Boy Blue too.
True it could have been better and was by far my least favorite, but I still liked it.

Finally, a reasonable response. Thank you. But there's only so much you can put into 5 episodes (Fairly short episodes, at that).
How do downvotes prove I don't want a season two? I don't understand.
Yeah I'd prefer Bigby staying as the protagonist, it I wouldn't mind their being a different protagonist like Cindy or something.
Yeah, I'm at issue 39 right now and was surprised to learn Bigby gave up the position so early and bluebeard dieing so early was shocking to me too.
No, thank you:). Still, pretty much all the responses here have been reasonable...there's no need to single out mine.

He gave up his position as sheriff so quickly because he didn't want to work for Prince Charming.

Hang in there, his time will come soon:). I also remember how much I wanted him to make a comeback.
Glad to see you agree. I decided to re-read it recently, and all I could think about is how they can add a scene like that in the game, but the context to be different. I'm talking about when Bigby & Co go to his apartment.
Sorry, I should have said more than just the title, my bad.
I meant I liked March of the Wooden Soldiers over that story. :-)
It proves that other people don't think a new season would be a waste. You sound like it's a fact, not just your opinion.
cough hershel cough
Lilly was also from the comics, but that was changed during development.

Personally I thought it was one of telltale best games, maybe even the best. I liked it better than the walking dead myself.
No one should have known about a plot that had no chance of happening.
