Reading any comics?
I'm guessing some of you read comics based on how popular the walking dead and the wolf among us are for telltale right now.
so what are you reading?
Right now i'm reading the walking dead(of course), Saga, All-new ghost rider and Outcast.
Also why not give some suggestions while you're at it?

I'm at Marvel the most. Certain Events like Civil War and mostly limited Series. I like lesser known Heroes and Teams like Alpha Flight, Inhumans and such.
Right now i'm reading some Stuff from Now!: Uncanny Avengers, Uncanny X-Force, Cable and X-Force and Guardians of the Galaxy. All more or less pretty nice.
Good reads I've been wanting to get into x-men but I have no clue where to start.
I don't read much marvel(so much out there it's hard to keep up) but what's the difference between x-men and x-force?
It isn't easy to name a proper Starting Point because X-Men Comics are around for Decades. It would be helping if one already knows at least most of the Main Cast from somewhere like Movies, Games, Cartoons etc. and then grabbing some recommend Storys or collected Tradepaperbacks which sounding nice to yourself. Alternatively you should work with the Internet and just finding some Informations, Communities and such. Comicvine.com is a great Site for everything related.
X-Force is kinda the Underdog Team of the Mutants. They doing the 'dirty' Work and the One which better should stay undetected from anyone else. So it's pretty visual and even gory sometimes.
Hmmm sounds cool i'll look into it.
Oh i'm also gonna start reading stan lee's run on the fantastic four. gotta read the classics.
Yeah. i was about to point that out. If you really want to get into it from the Start, your best Bet is to start with the very First Runs. Same for the X-Men then which started around 1960.
You should look for 'Marvel Masterworks' for that matter.
Yea I saw the masterworks on Amazon.
Hey you should read Akira by katsuhiro otomo. I know everyone talks about it and its just as good as they say. It's a pricey its 24 or 26 bucks for each but there's six so I think that's fine.
I'm making my way through the Fables series, and I'm thinking of starting on the Batman New 52. Batman: Year One and The Long Halloween had me hooked, and Batman: Death of the Family looks pretty intriguing.
Killing Joke is fine too.
so i've heard
comics you should read:
20th century boys,
Akira,
Onepunch-man,
Kick ass(not for the faint of heart),
Body bags(also not for the faint of heart),
Saga,
Peepo-choo, and
All-new ghost rider
There's lots i'm leaving out these are the ones that came to mind.
Heard of that, and another recommendation makes me think I'll check it out. Thanks.
Same Kick-Ass as the films? And what's Body Bags about? Aside from the obvious.
Currently reading Future's End (Damn it's good) while waiting for Book 7 of Fables to arrive in the mail.
The all new Ghost Rider is pretty good, although I haven't picked up the next issue or two because the other issues weren't as good as 1 and 2 in my opinion. But I have hope in the series. Gabe and Robbie's relationship gives me the feels.
Wow I didn't think anyone else would find this. Yeah I love all new ghost rider so much but two issues behind. I've been reading saga, the walking dead and I just started deadly class it's really great. I just finished kick ass 2 and 3. I need to read outcast issue 2, I'm starting starlight soon. Superior is cool so far. I also like mph a lot. Sorry I read a lot of comics.
Reading a lot of comics is a good thing. What do you mean by Superior? Like Superior Spider-man? That was an awesome series.
Mark millar's superior
Oh, I'll have to look into that sometime.
Oh yeah do it
I just purchased the three issues of Bad Dreams that are currently available in physical form (and just decided to buy the digital version of issue #4, since it looks like the physical version has been delayed). It's a story by Gary Winnick (the co-creator of Maniac Mansion) about a girl who finds herself in a dream world. It has some excellent art, the storyline is really interesting so far (and pretty twisty, it's kind of surprising what happens to her in the third issue), and it has the subtle comedy that Gary's known for.
I really recommend picking it up if you can find it (you might have to go the digital route as the print versions are selling out like crazy).
I'll look into it.
I'm glad to see so many people reading comics!
Currently reading Fables I'm at issue#64 and also reading the walking dead currently at issue 120 something. I always wanted to read batman comics, but never knew where to start.
Fables is ending with 150 and you're ten behind on the walking dead. It's gonna get really good around 126 by the way.
Depends... do you want to read the old Batman comics? I would suggest Knightfall. If you're wanting something new, I would suggest The Court of Owls.
Yeah I heard knightfall is a classic.
I'm reading Saga (Amazing comic!), Fables, and some marvel comics.
Yeah saga is amazing. Which marvel comics?
Well, the most recent comics I've read was the 4th volume of Fables, though I finished that back in May.
Some other series piqued my interest back then as well. If anyone is willing to help: can anyone tell me if 'American Vampire' or 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' comics are any good?
I have no idea.
I've started to read the Fables comics and they are really good. I have read some of the Walking Dead comics but they got a bit boring for me so I stopped.
how far are you in the walking dead? i'm all the way caught up but it gets a little slow after all out war.
Fables seems cool.
I actually stopped reading after the whole thing with the Hunters, I'm not sure what issue. And Fables are really good. If you liked Wolf check them out.
Oh yeah the hunters were cool. I'm gonna check Fables out at some point.
Oh and I haven't played Wolf yet. I played a demo and it was cool but I couldn't get a feel for it really.
I highly recommend both the fables comics and the wolf among us. The comics are amazing I'm at like issue 67 and I just gotta say Flycatcher is awesome and as for the wolf among us I found it way better than the walking dead game both season 1 and 2.
Wolf is a prequel right? So should I play Wolf and then read Fables or does the order not really matter?
It doesn't really matter, but since it's a prequel I'd probably play the game first.
Ok cool i'll do that.
Can't comment on the comic per se, however I've read The Girl with the Dragon Tatto book and it's a great story, and the comic sticks to it and adds a little, apparently.
Sorry for the super late reply. Body Bags is by jason pearson published by Dak Horse in 1996. Taking this next part from Wikipedia.
Plot:
Set in the fictional city of Terminus, Georgia (which is named after the former name for Atlanta), Body Bags follows the contract-killing exploits of a Hispanic father & daughter team of "body baggers" (assassins) Mack Delgado (aka "Clownface"), a knife-wielding veteran of the business, and his overzealous and overly-voluptuous teenage daughter, Panda. Many of their assignments come from the series' only other recurring character, Sheriff Toni Sinn. Despite the arguing that goes on between teenager Panda and father Mack, Mack is still very protective while Panda constantly fights for her father's respect and permission to set out on jobs with her father and his longtime body-bagging partner, Pops.
Yeah so its like Kick-Ass but way before. So I guess you could say Kick-Ass is a rip if you wanted.
Thor - God of Thunder (Really good so far),
Avengers World,
New Avengers,
X-Men - Legion,
All new X-Men,
Uncanny X-Men (Not really enjoying it)
Mainly the 'Marvel Now' comic books
have you tried all new ghost rider?
