Yes, Extra_Cheesy is right. Plot-Wise, and Setting-Wise. And, a bit more. The two are connected, and are even in the same time era I think. I'm a huge fan of the comic too, and hope anyone who's never heard of it, does read it.
I personally loved the second game. As a fan of Fables (the original comic by Bill W.), I really want a 2nd season. I don't know how to explain, but I think that video spoke for a lot of us. Thanks.

So basically, if Telltale were to knock on your door with a fancy, new, sparkling season 2 in their arms, you'd slam the door in their face? That baffles me. Even if you don't like the game as much as you like the comics, which is clearly the issue here, I think it's pretty darn cool that we have a game based on the world of Fables. Most comics don't get that much support.
Sure, it doesn't need a S2—but by using that logic you could say Fables doesn't need another issue.
I'll respect your opinion, I don't understand or agree with it, but opinions are opinions. So maybe you could return the favour as I see a few problematic points in your post:
why would anyone want it from just ONE character's perspective (Shut up about Cinderella already, I can't see her ever being the protagonist of season two)
everyone in TWAU forums can't accept that it wasn't a stellar game, not even one of Telltale's best...
Ok I know this thread is basically dead but I just wanted to say something:
you only got to see things from Bigby's perspective
Well the game is called "The Wolf Among Us" and not "Fables" for a reason
everyone in TWAU forums can't accept that it wasn't a stellar game, not even one of Telltale's best...
Thats your opinion. In mine, its one of the best Telltale has produced. If you want t to look more at facts, Wolf has gotten as good reviews as Walking Dead s2, if not better.
if you're talking about me, that wasn't my intent. I was trying to say, even after reading the comics, I loved the first (possibly only) season. Im sorry if it seemed like I was being pretentious.
Please do me a favor and re-read my posts. Please. I never claimed my opinion is fact. I never said Bigby is the only option. If you read my posts carefully, you can obviously see I'm against the idea of him being the only option.
I am prepared for all of the hate I'm going to get for this, because everyone in TWAU forums can't accept that it wasn't a stellar game, not… more even one of Telltale's best...
This is the kind of thing I hate. I can't accept that it wasnt a stellar game because you say so? Your opinion is not law. As for not needing a season 2, you said what I already said as a reason for why a season 2 would be possible. Because it's such a vast world with so many characters. Why do you think Bigby is the only option? I read all the comics, even most of the ones from the spin offs so Im just as big a fan as you and I was perfectly satisfied with the game and with a little imagination and ingenuity, Im confident that they can do a season 2 that would be just as good as this one.
I never claimed my opinion as a fact, you must be inferring something that isn't there. I never said The Wolf Among Us is a "game version" either, it's obviously not.
I've been finished with this thread for a while. I've already defended my opinion against comments like
is like saying Walking Dead games aren't needed because they are based on comics.
This. I really hate when people say that kind of comments and claim it's a fact. Plus from what I have seen, TWAU has actually gotten a very… more good response so there's definitely demand for it. Just today I read a new issue of this Finnish gaming magazine which reviewed the whole season (90 points out of 100). The guy who reviewed has also read all the comics up to this point and he actually vastly preferred TWAU and hoped for a season 2.
Saying that season 2 doesn't need to happen because of the comics is like saying Walking Dead games aren't needed because they are based on comics. And no, it doesn't change anything that TWAU uses some pre-established characters. There's still many, many themes and characters we can tackle. Also, a game and a comic are two different mediums which reach different audiences and operate on different principles. I don't get why the hell we couldn't have different adaptations of this world. Especially since TWA… [view original content]

Would anyone slam the door on their face? And I never said I don't want a season two, ma'am or sir. There's a big difference between not wanting and not needing.

I know it's my opinion. Thanks for informing me. I don't know where I would be in life if you weren't there to tell me things I already know.
Since you love pointing out things I already know, thought I'd point out something you already know:
one of the best
Are you implying that it's not the best Telltale game? If so, why go through all the trouble to try and make it out to be the best? I know what you're going to say; I know The Wolf Among Us isn't shit, I know it's not the worst Telltale game. Never once did I say it was. So no need to inform me about that.

Oh no, I was talking about OP. but now that I look back, I can see that it was a little rude. I made that comment when I was in a bad mood, so I'm in the wrong here. OP is entitled to his opinion.

Saying how "everyone in TWAU forums can't accept that it wasn't a stellar game, not even one of Telltale's best..." holds a clear indication that we are wrong/blind/in-denial and you are right, i.e. stated as a fact. Maybe it wasn't your intention but that's what it sounds like.
And when I said "not just a game version", I wasn't quoting you but spoke in general sense, point being that TWAU S2 does have plenty to offer (even for comics fans) since it expands the Fables universe.

No need to be a jerk. The way you were stating it made it sound like a fact, not your opinion. You made it sound like a big flop after Ep.1, whereas the general reaction and the reviews state different. So stop acting like your word is law.
have you guys ever heard of a little game called: "Tales From The Borderlands"? What about "Game Of Thrones"?
We aren't asking for it by Christmas. If you read a little closer, you would see we just want some news. So calm down and stop acting like your opinion is what needs to happen.

What if the next installment of the wolf among us didn't show the fables universe from the perspective of Bigby? Look, the title is just the title. You can just retroactively put a colon in front of the original title and make it something like "fables 1 : A wolf among us". Which lets you do this "fables 2 : the amazing tales of blue boy"... or whatever.
The point is that you're allowing a title to control the context of a story which is insane. Typically titles are not worried about while writing a script or book. You sort of make that up after the writing and editing is done. You'll often have a prospective title which you won't take terribly seriously. Often things to movie production and they don't even know the title of it until the trailer or the posters get made.
Titles are not important. They're just titles. If you love fables and you like what Telltale did here, then why not encourage more works along the same lines. Your concern is that everything happens from the perspective of one character and you'd like it broadened.
Okay... so make that your suggestion. Not that they simply do nothing in this universe ever again. That throws the baby out with the bathwater.

I can't believe some people still think we don't need season 2, it's if they make season two put lots effort (yes I'm talking to you TT) rather then rushing to release episodes which last an hour with limited options (targeting episode 4 here) do 5 episodes of quality 5 star gaming content. Please make season 2!!!
btw I did like season 1 I just think they didn't achieve the potential in the game, I can be a lot better but I still love TWAU what happens.

I think Clementine is just as interesting as Lee because it's such a new experiences playing as a young girl instead of a grown man for a change. I love playing as Clementine.

I think they will make another season, but that will be years to come and everyone would have forgotten this great game. But when they do, I think they'll do it in a grand scale to bring the game back from the dead one last time.

His comeback is very badass if I might say.
This is pretty much my reaction to a wolf among us season 2.

I agree completely. I cant add anything you what you said. I feel the same way 100%

Yeah, it's nice to see other people appreciate it. Though, it's their own opinion to think otherwise.

I chuckled at that.

Actually it's way more complicated than that. Bigby's reasoning is based on Snow, as always.

why is it a ''we'' anyway
I do need a season two.
Pleeeeeease. ;_;
Ahem I like playing as Clem more than Lee.
Dislikes in 3....2.....1
Not expecting a season 2 but would one for I enjoyed the game
