It would kind of ruin s3. It could just be called season 1, since all ties are cut if Clementine dies.
Clem dies. Step one- cry. Step two-cry a little more. Step three- get pissed. Step four-throw things. Step five- invade telltale HQ and propose a hostile takeover. Step five- seek mental help.
Suicide is never the answer. I've lost friends that way too many times. Like a smart person once said "its a permanent solution to a temporary problem." And its pretty selfish to do. Other people care about you and they would be left to wonder if they could have done anything to stop it.

I know it was a joke but it is something that should not be joked about. Its more serious then you might think. Robin Williams recently killed himself and frankly nows not the time for a suicide joke if there ever WAS a time.

I'd be pissed the fuck off.
I would be more irritated than sad, because it would just be lazy writing. They would be ending season 2 the same way they did season 1, it would lessen the impact of Lee's death if they had Clem die. I mean, Lee died so Clem could live, I think his sacrifice played a big part as to why many of us were so devastated by his death. The main protagonist dying worked for season 1, but I feel the only reason they would kill off Clem is to make room for another protagonist. And there are way more creative ways to transition to a new protagonist that don't involve killing off Clem.
Honestly, if Clementine dies I'll feel like I failed the game. My goal in Season 1 was to protect her as Lee. My goal now in Season 2 is still to protect her through herself and other characters. So if she dies I'll feel as if I have failed the game. That's just my opinion I'm sure everyone else has their own thoughts and ideas as to what completing the game successfully is and what-not.
Roll my eyes at the writers being too lazy to come up with a more original ending.
