Can't comment on the comic per se, however I've read The Girl with the Dragon Tatto book and it's a great story, and the comic sticks to it and adds a little, apparently.

  • No, is it good?

have you tried all new ghost rider?

  • Oh yeah its very good. they're only five issues in so you have time to catch up.

  • Cool, is it by Tradd Moore? Volume 1 comes out 14th October, maybe because I'm in the UK.

  • I started reading Gantz but I gave up because of......reasons....

I also started reading the 2008 and 2013 reboot of Guardians of the Galaxy since the movie got me obsessed.

And I barely started reading Fables Only on Issue 3

  • Let's just say Gantz is some of the worst and "best" japan has to offer...And I thought the anime was fucked up

  • No problem! Body Bags sounds - and looks - pretty intense, though like something that could be worth checking out, just to see what it's actually like.

Thanks for the recommendations from before. It's good to get them from someone who clearly knows what they're talking about!

Sorry for the super late reply. Body Bags is by jason pearson published by Dak Horse in 1996. Taking this next part from Wikipedia. Plot:

  • Yeah man no problem.

  • I want to start invincible. Start reading the walking dead it's good. They're at 130 now but you can catch up.

  • I have Superman and Batman comics so far. Recently, I heard that "The Death of Archie: A Life Celebrated" will be out this Tuesday. I haven't read it myself, but I will look forward to it when this comes out on Tuesday. After all, I used to read a few Archie comics when I was little.

The Wolf Among Us was so good !!!

Now i read Fables and the story and characters are so amazing !!!

I hope Teltale will bring us the Season 2 of The Wolf Among us

So a great world and characters

And in Fables Bigby and Snow are together

I think there is a huge potential for a Season 2

TWD and other series are also good but a World/characters from the fairy tales are more magical

  • I'm not sure if you're familiar with this but last year they started doing Archie zombie comics. Alt text

Here again is a synopsis from wikipedia. (i get it but they do a better job of explaining it.)

    Synopsis

It is the story of Ali, a young British Asian awaiting the arrival of his unseen arranged marriage. A baby in his family accidentally opens a path to the centre of the Earth, unleashing ancient monsters hell bent on destroying the world. Only the Ultra-Hadeen, a team of ancient and somewhat naive super heroes can stop them.
Ali also must deal with several personal family crises, most influenced by the presence of the super-beings.

Its a good read i liked it a lot. Its very short only three issues so you can buy the single issues pretty easily. Or you can buy the trade which is what I did. The ending is a little weird kinda put me off because its so sudden. Thats probably because the series is so short. Anyway, its a good one i'd say buy it.

Man the worst thing about 3 issue comics Is the fact that If you get really into the characters and the plot. Because once you finish those 60 pages that's it and especially if it ends poorly I'll be like.

  • I'm not a real fan of comics ,except the fables who i read all the issuses up at the moment.

  • you should get into comics, well books in general but comics are my favorite. there's so much freedom in comic and you can read a story about any subject you can think of. you can say whatever want, show whatever you want, its complete freedom. there's no censors whatever you want goes. Oh and i haven't read fables but i keep hearing its good so i should probably start.

  • I've never been a fan of comics, but I'm surrently reading The Walking Dead and it's absolutely awesome! I also read Fables for a while, but I got bored and I don't read them anymore.

  • In fables are very intersting first 4 volums. The next 3 are kind of boring but the 8 one is my favourite (a.k.a The Wolves),after that all are intersting. But if you want to play the game play it before reading them (the wolf among us).The comics spoil the game.In atoher way in my country(Romanian) the comics aren't very popular .I read a lot of books, mysterious and detective much of the time. But the school in Romania has a s*** development with lot of homeworks ,lot of exams but we are at the bootom in internationals contests , so i don't have much of a time

  • Lol that was exact opposite for me. Walking Dead comics got really dull after a while whereas Fables are awesome all throughout.

  • Anybody have any suggestions for a comic series? I'm close to being all caught up on Fables (which is very good), so does anyone know any comics similar to Fables that I could read?

Also, I always wanted to read some Batman comics, but I never know where to start. Any suggestions there?

It depicts two lovers from long-warring extraterrestrial races, Alana and Marko, fleeing authorities from both sides of a galactic war as they struggle to care for their newborn daughter, Hazel, who occasionally narrates the series.
