They do have a Forum Games section, which is where most of the fanfics and such have been moved to. The main reason they merged that thread with another is that it was more suited for General Talk, rather then at the Forum Games.

I haven't really seen the thread your talking about but why not create an entire sect… moreion dedicated to fanfics? It worked wonders on the site I mentioned a bit ago. A fan fiction section dedicated to stories people come up with(about TWD, TWAU) and people create their own threads or would the mods find that as being to cluttered?

I'm assuming non-loungers were mostly indifferent to it. I really don't know why anyone not involved would feel otherwise. It was just a place to chill out and talk to friends.
I never really participated in the lounge much at all (maybe 5 posts tops), but it was occasionally fun to go there for a little laugh once in awhile (not in a negative sense).

I concur that this place is not much fun anymore. I feel like it's full of people who think they can push the concept of 'the customer is al… moreways right' too far and that it's fine to say/do whatever they want to. I see far too much criticism thrown at Telltale and it's often not done in a sensible, calm, respectful way. There's too much over-reaction as well and people tend to think Telltale needs to cater to them. If they don't, then bad or lazy writing! Then there's the fact that many think their opinion = fact. It all leads to a never-ending cycle of complaining/arguing/debating where no progress is ever made, which doesn't make the place fun to be around. And it is slightly ironic that Telltale are accused of being disrespectful when some users should take a look at themselves.
Anyway, I'm just very much jaded with people/society/online communities. Sometimes I think I should just keep to myself and remain offline. I do feel for Jennife… [view original content]

It's like two people who are just yelling at a wall on different sides. I'm just thinking in my head, "Ya know, can't we just all sit down and discuss something with respectful views and opinions?" Although seeing comments on the Internet, we may never see the day when that happens...

And I gotta' say guys, what was said there is the worst b… moreehavior I've ever seen directed to a moderator (and a kind and friendly one to add). And I can understand that people were annoyed at what happened and pointed it out, I get that. But to be so... aggressive towards her was, to say the least, uncalled for. And now I can't help but feel disappointed in how the community reacted. Come on guys, I know you're better than that and I know that a lot of people didn't react so harshly towards her so this isn't directed to you. I just hope that people will learn from what's happened recently and try to sort it out in a more... civil manner.

Pretty much theres this thread that was a hang out place for a fanfiction, it got moved because it had no real purpose and users were very upset. It was moved by Jennifer they personally starting bullying Jennifer and bashing her, some werent though. It seems Jennifers feelings were hurt which is understandable, Jennifer has left. Now 2 users are banned aswell
