Arvo
If you have too make a choice too kill Arvo or let him go ... what's your choice. Me personally I'm gonna shoot his ass if I have the choice. I refused too Rob him and I gave him his bag of medicine back and he still said he wants too take my stuff and wasent really helping the situation .... mabye he is talking in Russian trying too tell his friends too stop they have a baby , but I'm pretty sure somebody in my group will be killed by the Russians ... fuck you arvo BANG

I agree, if you were a Clem who tried to be good and not take his things he still comes after you saying you stole his stuff. If anyone dies in the shootout on my side, he's gone. Me personally I won't let him killing anyone in my group slide... But Clem as a real person, I don't think she's that cruel.
Arvo tries just as much as Clementine to avoid the shootout. In Russian he says something to his group along the lines of 'I don't want to die!'
I'd let him live.
Depends on how many people died in the Shootout, and how pissed I am at the time the choice happens. Unless he gives me a good reason not to, I'm offing him.
I wouldn't kill him. My motto is "Kill only the dead, never the living, unless they're suffering"
Sometimes, I think it's better to let someone have their way, you may have prevented them from dying, but death will just make a new mechanism, one that will cause a more painful death than the last, but of course, never give up hope, but then again, it's not your life and it's not your choice... I'm arguing with myself now...
Arvo tried to calm things down, was a non-combatant, and had no say in robbing the group. He didn't even start the gunfight. Besides, keeping him alive as a hostage/interpreter may be the only way to keep the rest of the Russian community from immediately gunning down Clem's group. Let's not forget that they're likely to have more medical supplies that could help the baby, and may even have a presence in the town that Clem's group is trying to reach.
I think the first 'choice' of the episode will be convincing Kenny whether or not Arvo should be executed.
I would let him live. He obviously didn't want to take everything they had. When he was talking to them did he really seem like he was just ready to shoot them whenever and do that? I didn't think so. He seemed taken aback whenever he found out that they had a baby with them, it wasn't like he just blew it off as if it didn't matter to him. He also tried to make it simple so that no harm would come to them by trying his best to get them to put down their guns. He was probably forced to do that whenever his group found out about that incident and just simply had to do that. It's not something you can just back out on if everyone were to be against what you think is right.
I will probably let him live. I mean, I did steal from the poor guy. We needed some medicine too! Although I am sure we could have just asked for a bottle or two of pills and been much more pleasant about it, but I digress. So I don't blame him for coming to attack me for stealing, but I also admire that he did try to stop the shootout and him (along with Maud, it seems) didn't want it to go how it did. So I don't think I would kill him.
Even if everyone died, I would still let him live. I don't want to kill in anyone's name especially when they have no say in it :P
well this is a tough choice Arvo did turn on us even if we let him keep his medicine, but you can clearly tell he had no choice but to set us up because he was under the pressure of his group.
If it was real life ill let him live but since its a game I am gonna make sure he pays for killing Clem's group.

dang triple post sorry!
Heh, I'd probably be the opposite. Video-games allow me to be a little calmer than how I'd be in reality.
Because of the thread in the trailer "Who will you become?", I feel like killing or sparing Arvo in ep.5 (if it's a choice) will really determine who Clementine is since it would be the first person that she straight-up kills (every other death that comes to mind was either an accident or not entirely her fault).
However, I'm gonna let Arvo live. When I first saw him, I had a suspicion that he was lying about the medicine, but he still seemed like a nice person. He was just doing what his group forced him to do, and he tried to calm things down.
I have a feeling that Kenny will be the one who will actually execute Arvo, and Clem can decide whether to spare him or not.
But I also expect Clementine to deliberately kill bandits by the end of this episode. Whether it's in anger or to protect her friends will be unclear.
Agreed. I have nothing wrong with Clem killing people to survive, I would just be a little shocked because it hasn't really happened yet.
If I had to choose, I wouldn't. There's been enough killing and Arvo isn't worth it. I'd only kill him If he was about to kill someone in the group.
It'd depend on how the group is, how he is and if i think we'd need him for the rest of their group. Might make a better hostage if it comes to that.
He tried to save us after we told him we had a baby. He must feel some regret for setting us up for this. That being said, I'd let him go.
Let him live, besides there are more uses for him that just to waste a bullet, think of all ways we can use him with the walkers when theybturn up if we pull a troy on him
I respect all your morals , but if Bonnie , Luke or Mike die because of this idiot and I feel he is responsible even just a tad , I'm unleashing Kenny`s wrath upon his soul
My answers not about morality. It's about leverage. Arvo's either a good hostage or a...passable meat xhield to me.
