Your Biggest Fear(s)

  • Bees wasps hornets and sharks ....

  • I have both of them. I always check to see if there's jumpscares, hate them!

Arachnophobia. It sucks. And I don't mean the 'Eww, a spider... ' kind of thing. I mean the 'HOLY SHIT A SPIDER!' kind of thing.

  • There's a difference between some tiny trivial detail about something they thought was wrong, and the inner machinations of the universe, like the speed of light and time travel. Nothing that has mass can travel as fast as, or faster than the speed of light.

The closer you get to the speed of light, the more your mass increases, and the energy required to move it. This will become infinite, thus requiring infinite energy, so no, there is no way to break the basic laws of the universe.

Only Photons can do this since they have no mass. http://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/31449/how-do-photons-travel-at-a-speed-that-should-be-impossible-to-attain

Though an experiment has POSSIBLY recorded neutrinos moving faster than the speed of light, it's impossible to have a big ship with no mass. You would have to take in many factors that stop this.

I remember when Scientists said certain things were impossible... but then they were proven wrong.

  • What reasons are there, really, to think the universe is ruled by such absolute laws?

There must be exceptions, and you pointed out one.

And how exactly do WE know what the rules are?

We only invent these 'laws' to account for things we don't really understand.

Most phenomena can be accounted for by existing laws, but these laws were made for them in the first place.

  • Roller coasters terrify me to no end. The only thing I can ride at an amusement park without getting shaky are the tea cups that spin around slowly.

  • I do too. If I ever feel like im gonna vomit I do as much as I can to try and hold it in.

I feel stupid for saying this (or even being afraid of it) but I have a BIG fear of vomiting. I am afraid of seeing someone vomit, and me vomiting myself. I sucks because I don't think I can ever get over this fear.

  • I went on my first rollercoaster when I was 11, it was my first time at an amusement park, (Dreamworld). I went on like 8 rides, but the rollercoaster scared me so much. I hate rollercoasters, but I'll go on one for the adrenaline rush.

  • OK, Please don't laugh at me for saying this, but...... Noclipping in games..... I have no idea why but I get really uncomfortable when I go under a map....

  • It's ok, it makes sense really, when you think about it, moving through everything and looking like you're stuck in the middle of nowhere would be scary.

  • My worst fear is my eye getting poked out. Or something sharp plunging into my eye. One thought about this makes me sick!

  • Bees and tornadoes.

  • I'm afraid of going blind, and bugs they scare me if they get to close.

  • You probably wouldn't like Corpse Party, then. xD

  • Don't ever play Dead Space 2.

  • I'm scared of heights, public speaking, and never finding love :(

And I'm not really scared of bugs, but they annoy me.

  • Everything. I'm pretty much a scaredy cat. Spiders, insects, heights, and strangers are normal ones, but I have some weird ones. I'm afraid of getting something, like pants or a shoelace, caught in an escalator, getting stuck in an elevator, failing stuff, never finding love, being alone in public et cetera. I also have a really big fear of intruders being in my house, but I'm pretty sure that I have anxiety, which would probably cause that fear.

  • You mean the anime? That part with Yuka's death? I watched it. It was very disturbing, I must say. But I still prefer the game.

  • I'm afraid of getting something, like pants or a shoelace, caught in an escalator,

Two years ago, in a big mall in my city, a woman got caught in an escalator and died slowly and painfully. And right on the day after this, one of the channels showed a movie called "Final Destination 4" where one of the characters dies on the escalator as well. For next few months I couldn't even look at escalators.

  • Did you really have to put the "slowly and painfully" part XD. I think you made my fear worse. Anyway, I better not watch that movie.

  • Isolation- being alone
    Death- youre dead
    Those are my top fears.

  • That doesn't make you sound stupid. That makes you sound normal.

  • Nothin really that strange. Snakes and heights. But those fears are pretty common, so...
