I love the Harry Potter movies, but I think just because of my love of the series that has been going on for years. They are still trash compared to the books of course.
As a die-hard marvel fan, I thought the Avengers was very great, But it wasn't really a masterpiece. I believe that Marvel's true potential starts off in phase 2, And that Phase 1 was just an introduction.
On the other hand, As a big fucking webhead since childhood, I think that Both Webb's and Raimi's spider-man(s) were really bad and not faithful to the lore of the comics.

While I am aware that the avengers is indeed a comic book movie at it's finest....I couldn't help but to expect a more dark and serious story, which was probably a mistake from the start. However, comic book movie or not, Loki was a joke in my opinion. I still remember how all the people in the cinema cheered when Hulk "smashed" him, and all I could think about was "that's it?".
Another example would be the Spider-Man reboot. They don't even come close to the Raimi movies, at least in my opinion.
Avatar. Everyone was saying it's the best film ever but when I watched it I almost fell asleep because I was so bored. The only good part was when that massive tree set on fire.
I really worry about the guy who thought about making those movies.
In that case, you should stay away from "A Serbian Film", "The Human Centipede II" or "Grotesque".:)
That list is long, but off the top of my head, the two Silent Hill flicks, all of the Paranormal Activity movies, Thor/Captain America and Avatar. Oh, and of course, every single Transformers movie. No, every single Michael Bay movie. I hate everything about this man's "work".

Ok, hate is a strong word. I just didn't like Django as much as Quentin Tarantino's other movies. I guess I just thought the excessive violence and profanity felt really out of place in this film. I don't know, something about it just kinda drove me nuts.
yeah the swearing did felt kinda out of place but still I don't think Tarantino really cares about much of accurately, to a certain degree, of how they spoke. well that sucks, Ive never been disappointed by QT, and again I thought that Dicaprio deserved the Oscar. and the buckets of blood they were bullshit cuz cmon lol one shot and that was like losing half your blood in there, but it didn't bother me too much. I like bloody movies, to a degree.

Not to mention the most overrated movie of them all, Gravity. I don't like The Godfather, Indiana Jones or The Lion King. I am also not a big fan of Star Wars. I am a sucker for Toy Story though.
Guardians of the Galaxy. I was expecting it to be similar to the Iron Man movies, (the perfect mix of drama, comedy, and action) but it wasn… more't. It was all comedy (Drax was the only character that actually made me laugh). I wouldn't dislike it so much if the ending wasn't so anti-climatic.

When it comes to marvel, You HAVE to be nitpicky. Marvel's movies need to be perfected, Much like The Winter Solider. Sony's ill handling of Spider-Man needs to stop, And to bring back Spider-Man's movie rights to Marvel again.

It wasn't a perfect mix. It was primarily comedy (comedy that I didn't find very funny). There was some action, but it left me unsatisfied. The only drama in the movie was Ronan ruling the universe. Honestly, we all know that wasn't going to happen, so that doesn't even qualify as drama.
Where's the fun in that? Not criticizing anything? I praise the few videogames and movies that are really perfected in a way that interests me, While I trash movies and videogames that I don't like.
And yeah, Unfortunately, It's not going to happen anytime soon.

The only Lifetime movie I've seen that I actually liked was Front of the Class.
