How do you view Luke?

I see him as guy who means well.
A guy who has a strong sense of decency.
Though who is still a bit irresponsible.
Particularly, his running off to fool around with Jane, as opposed to staying with the group and having their back when besieged by walkers.

Granted, Luke made a mistake.
However, I do not blame Kenny for being very upset with him.
After all, Luke did put the group in danger.

Don't get me wrong, I think Luke is a good guy.
But I also think Luke still has a lot of growing up to do.

Hey 3 Luke threads in the top, something's going on here

Actually I like him, he's my bro. People can make mistakes, but he's a good guy, he always was.

  • Luke's a bit of a shitbird, but he's aight.

    I merely acknowledge his existence.

He's okay. He annoyed me a bit in Amid the Ruins and that made me not like him as much I did, but he is still a good guy.

  • I like Luke, but he doesn't have the big bro/little sis relationship I wanted him to have with Clem. My opinion of him has gone down considerably since the Jane incident. Actually, episode 4 just made my viewpoint of him shatter .-.

  • I think he is a good guy, who thinks himself responsible for the lives of his group members. Unfortunately, he's human and we're all prone to make mistakes and dumb choices. It hits him hard when he can't save everyone he wants to, and I think he's bottling up a lot of his pain and grief in order to not burden others with it. He wants to be the leader the group wants, and so part of that requires him to be strong emotionally and mentally.

I also see him as someone who is starting to struggle between morality and survival. He understands that some things need to be done, but he doesn't approve or even like how lost to the brutality of the world people can get. He's a moral compass in a way for Clementine. A reminder of how we don't need to lose our humanity in order to save it. He's like my Lee in that he rejects the ideals that people like Carver has.

  • My guess is people are no longer intimidated by a wave of downvotes to post their honest opinions. :O

  • He's a good guy. Yeah, he's got growing up to do. IMO most men don't grow up until their closer to their late 20's early 30's. And then some men never grow up. XD

But yeah the Jane thing pissed me off. But in light of other things going on in the group, I'm not going to hold it against him forever. I don't think he's responsible for Rebecca dying. Childbirth is a dangerous thing. A woman has a fairly great chance of dying from it without proper medical assistance. So I don't blame Luke for that. But I do blame him for the Walkers getting that close to the group.

I don't blame him for Sarah's death, because Sarah had the chance to get up and run. Both times. But she was paralyzed by fear and could no longer function. That is NOT Lukes fault. And if it is, anyone who left Sarah to die in the trailer park is responsible for Sarah dying. Sarah had the chance to run, but she couldn't. She was paralyzed by fear! That's not Lukes fault, and it's not Clem's fault.

  • as an asshole

  • Never been a big fan of him, but he's not a bad person. The only time I actually hated him is with the whole Jane thing. Other than that, he's OK, but Kenny is still my bro though.

  • I adore him .All around good guy.Seeing that he's the last of group that is still alive ,(and if not shot) .I would like to keep him around as long as I can. Knowing telltale ,they love killing off good characters.

  • Well-meaning but impulsive.

  • How do I view Luke?

    Thirsty

  • I was never afraid of being downvoted.
I'd post my opinion, whether people actually agreed with it or not.
If they wanted to downvote me, that was fine.

I always tried, and still try to be gracious.
But I would still stick to my guns!
Unless I outright offend someone, then I will apologize.
