Congratulations, Telltale, You Got Me (ENDING SPOILER)

So, against better judgment, I always snoop at spoilers. Always. Just happens. So obviously I couldn't resist reading the forums today as I waited patiently for Steam to update.

Although I haven't been too fond of Season 2 up until this point, the ending really got me. I came into the episode knowing who we'd have to choose between. I came into it knowing the spark notes of the ending. And I came into it telling myself that I'm choosing Kenny.

Then the final brawl came up, and it was a reflex. I shot him. Didn't even think about it. Totally going up against what I planned to do.

Then came the choice to go with Jane or go it alone. I knew it was coming, and wasn't going to go it alone. And yet, I still called Jane out for her craziness, and left on my own.

I must say, Telltale, bravo. You got me to act on impulse as if I was in the situation myself, and I suppose that's not an easy thing in the world of storytelling.

    I agree on that one. Not so much on the putting the baby in danger part (well, I guess it was if Jane died), but manipulating her way into a Mortal Kombat deathmatch with Kenny.

    I shot Kenny with pain in my heart.. but he was just to far gone.. My despair was severely lessened by Kenny being peaceful with it... He is with Katjaa Duck and Sarita now.. ;_;

    Damn, I was so mad when I saw the baby.

    I wasn't going to leave her, because Clem is still a 12 year old girl, and a 12 year old girl with a baby in a zombie infested world? No chance!
    I wish there was an option to tell her that she can stay, but that clem will never, ever, ever forgive her for what she did.

    Having said that, the Kenny endings were better, and it was sort of nice to know that something (nearly) went right for Kenny in the end. After everything.

    That's going to be an awkward family reunion, with both Katjaa and Sarita there.
