I already disliked him but the fact that he was calling Arvo a Ruskie and a Commie didn't help his case, as well as him being just like Carver and pushing him around and beating him, also the fact that he said "Speak American" Like for fucks sake, this just shows that Kenny is like one of those "Fuck yeah America is number one" kind of guys. And that he's ignorant as hell.

He also basically single-handedly tore apart one of the most capable and functional groups Clem has ever been with. It's undeniable, if Kenny hadn't been there, the group would've gotten along fine and stuck together. Luke, Bonnie and Mike clearly cared about each other and Clem, and Jane cared about Clem and was warming up to the others very quickly. They were all fit, capable and relatively smart adults who could've looked out for Clem.
Sigh, too bad that the game forced everyone to assume that Clem shared this super special bond with Kenny. Mike and Bonnie didn't need to be afraid that my Clem would tattle on Kenny when they tried to escape. Jane didn't need to pull that stunt with AJ to convince my Clem to go with her. The only obstacle that prevented me from leaving Kenny and going with the rest of the group was the game itself simply refusing to give me that option, and for no good reason either.

Think what you wanna think, it all depends on how you think really. I agreed with everything Kenny said, so obviously you and I wouldn't get along in the apocalypse. I also have to say, after seeing every ending, in my opinion stay with Kenny is the best ending.
I actually hated Arvo the whole time and kept siding with Kenny, which is ironic because I shot him.
Or part with kenny while having a tearful goodbye is the best.
I do think Kenny's sacrifice at Wellington is very kind and it does redeem him a bit but if you really think it was good for Kenny to push Arvo around and beat him as well as be racist, then that's just fucked up.

ARVO was the reason things got the way it did and HE WAS RESPONSIBLE whether you wanna give sympathy over him being a kid and looking like harry potter or not. Did you forget how he chuckled and laughed along with his Russian buddies when he thought it was funny how a little girl could just rob him???

I knew the moment Kenny first grabbed Arvo to use him, that we were headed down a dangerous path, and then the way he tried to beat Arvo the way Carver beat him, that was messed up, no wonder Mike and Bonnie wanted to leave.
The way I see it. Arvo deserves every punch given to him.
Did you also forget how he clearly didn't want the situation to escalate? The Russian translation actually showed that Arvo's group only wanted to steal back what Clem and Jane took, and that they didn't want to shoot anyone at all.
It is pretty ridiculous for a child to rob an older guy, you have to admit. But I really wonder if a lot of the hate towards Arvo is because he's Russian and Americans hate Russians.
The hatred for Arvo is because he led his group back to Clem's group even if Clem never took any of his things. And also the little fact that Arvo shoots her for no reason at all. I stood up for him every chance I got and he fucking shot me. That is why I hate that little rat bastard. He threw away every chance I gave him and topped it all off with shooting a little girl who posed no harm to him.

As for the commie part, it's a stereotype, Kenny ain't the most open minded person in the world, pretty close minded. Considering he thought we killed his sister (he didn't know she re-animated) and he thought we had a super special bond with Kenny who was brutally abusing him, well no shit he would shoot a kid to get a way from that, I would too, this kid just lost everyone and now hes being tied up and brutally abused for no reason, not to mention hes already a cripple so wtf Kenny.

Exactly, like Kenny tried to kill him around four times and constantly abused him both verbally and physically, the guy had just lost his sister and is a cripple for fucks sake and people think its just okay to beat him up and call him a Ruskie or a Commie even though hes tied up. Kenny literally tried to beat him to death just because Kenny didn't see the supplies right away and because Arvo gave him a rightfully deserved "Fuck You."

I think Tell Tale was trying to make us dislike Kenny, especially since we're with him in the end double determinantly.

I don't think you can call Kenny racist, things just comes out of his mouth sometimes.. Katjaa was foreign, and if he was racist he wouldn't care for Clementine or the baby and would hate the hell out of Lee.
Now what he did was not right and by that I mean beating Arvo to a pulp, Mike obviously couldn't take any of that but he isn't some knight in shining armor either. Bonnie is an opportunist. They all left a friggin' baby and an 11 year old behind mind you. I don't think Luke would ever agree to that.
Kenny cares for Clementine but he just cannot stand anyone else it seems. And there's no room for empathy in the apocalypse. You ain't a boy or a girl or a cripple, you're alive. Everyone has lost a lot. You certainly don't see Clementine complaining about it. He purposefully caused a lot of deaths. There was no reason to go after the group no reason for him to hate Clementine for shooting his zombie sister. I am not going to defend him but beating him up isn't the right answer either, he's not a threat. Should have just left him.
In the end there are no right or wrong answers, people are kind of equally split between their love for the characters and that's exactly what telltale wanted to accomplish.
