Why do people keep saying this to Clementine?
This whole season, Clementine has had to do everything. She had to help Luke clear the bridge, she had to sneak around Howe's, she even had to kick down doors and drive cars! She has displayed more competence than any of the other characters of The Walking Dead Season 2. Yet somehow, you still have characters accusing her of not taking things seriously because she is a little girl.
"You think because you're a little girl that you can people killed, that no one will care?! That because you're 'sorry' it'll all magically go away?" Clementine has never acted like this. She has been forced to make numerous decisions at this point because of the incompetence of those around her, and people may have died because of her already. But she never acted blithely about it. And this is even more ridiculous if you didn't cut off Sarita's arm, as there was nothing Clementine could have done to save her anyway.
And Bonnie yelling at Clem if you don't cover Luke but save her from drowning. I don't remember the exact lines but she says something along the lines of "It must be nice being a little girl, not worrying about getting people killed. It's your fault Luke died." No, it's your fault for breaking the ice and knocking him into the water. And Clem ended up almost freezing to death trying to save both of them anyways. It just doesn't make any sense.
I get that these people both lost loved ones shortly before they yelled at Clementine, but if you're going to yell at her do it for something that makes sense. Blame her for being too weak to fight off the walkers. Blame her for not risking herself for others, or for making the wrong decision. Don't treat her like being a child matters if you don't treat her like a child yourself. And that goes double for Telltale.

In Kenny's defense...he did forgive her, and apologize.
In Bonnie's defense....yeah, I got nothing. She didn't even seem to give a shit when Clem got shot.
Because people aren't rational, and when they're emotional they say things they wouldn't normally say, and I am sure this goes up to 11 in a zombie apocalypse. You can't really judge the characters by our norms. They would seem crazy and unhinged if you did. They have their own norms and expectations and feelings that have been molded by their new world.
A lot of people do that though, blame others for something either they were not strong enough to do or the outcome is not what the person wants. I can only assume that Luke dies in the frozen water whether Clem or Bonnie tries to save him. Anyway accusing a child of fucking up is not foreign to a lot of people since they figure there is low risk of backlash.
I think Bonnie's reaction is determinant. In my playthrough I tried to help Luke myself and she felt guilty over it, then afterwards she was pretty pissed at Mike after Clem was shot.
It is determinant. I still think it's ridiculous how fast she turns against Clem for going with what Luke said. I generally got pissed off when she gave me that "It must be nice being a little girl, not worrying about getting people killed. It's your fault Luke died." bullshit. I forgave you for showing Carver where we were, and getting Carver killed, but I accidentally get Luke killed you hate me? It's even worse considering the hole you make to try and get Luke out is the whole Bonnie escaped from. Hell, I might've not even been the reason Luke died. He might've gotten out that hole, but "Bonnie to da rescue!"
"Sometimes people get sad. and that makes them angry. People don't always make sense, Clementine" - Lee
I think Lee had the best response to the OP
