Campfire scene underrated.

The forums are filled with Kenny vs Jane threads, Fuck Arvo threads, and alot of discussion about season 3.

Yet i fail to see alot of threads about the campfire scene, i found it one of the best scenes out there atmospherically. After 4 episodes of no fun whatsoever, all the deaths, all the killings, all the dissapointments, there was finally some beacon of light there where guys could laugh. I appreciate it so much they put that in there.

So this thread doesnt really have a point besides, look at the fun things about the episode too guys :), its not just about killing Kenny or going with him :). Sometimes we need a break.

After all the hardship and darkness of the four previous episode, it was nice to see the survivors actually being people and having fun at once. :)

  • It was great and provided some depth to all of them.

Bonnie,Mike and Arvo arnt bad people there trying to make the best of it, Arvo is griefing.

Jane is self conscious of what shes doing and being seen as weird

Kenny, is refelctive and concerned about the future

Luke is happy and sad at the same time after every thing thats happened

  • Agreed. I really enjoyed the camp fire because everybody actually had a chance to just bounce off each other. And finally, Clem actually acted like a kid ("kissing and stuff") which I celebrated with two strong fist pumps. Finally she was treated by both the group and the writers as she was created, not an adult in a child disguise.

It was great and provided some depth to all of them. Bonnie,Mike and Arvo arnt bad people there trying to make the best of it, Arvo is gr

  • I think that's my favourite scene in season 2! Just the group getting to laugh and bond and relax a little. Even Jane and Kenny getting to settle in with the others and have a joke. It definitely gave the later scenes a punch, and injected some love back into various characters for me.
