  • it's not even confirmed the ending was between luke and kenny...

  • It's fine the way it is.

  • They never said that it was about Luke and Kenny.

  • Why? The ending is good..

  • You're right, It wasn't confirmed, but it was leaked on the internet that it was originally going to be between Luke and Kenny, the only two characters that people REALLY cared about in the game. It would also explain why Luke was originally going to survive the ice breaking.

  • All I've seen of this "proof" is a sound file of Luke shivering, that dont mean anything for me. That could still be when his leg falls in. Stories are rewritten constantly. An I really just cannot see Luke fighting Kenny

I think the endings work pretty well it gives people a reason to play it bit more to see all the ending but it would of be cool to see the original ending but Such is life

  • People are entitled to there opinion right? And I share mine with a lot of people, I think that the games ending would have been a lot more powerful if it was between Luke and Kenny, the two characters who always looked out for Clem and pretty much fought for her approval. It would of been a decision I wouldn't have been able to make.

  • True, but even if it was, the simple fact remains that stories go through rewrites during the development process. The possible reason a Kenny/Luke ending confrontation was dropped was because TT felt it wasn't the balanced choice they wanted. Perhaps they felt Luke would be too much of an obvious favorite and would have been chosen by players far more than Kenny. Ever since the Carly/Doug choice in S1E1 was so uneven, I think TT has been more mindful to make choices more difficult to make. If you have to sweat your choices out with limited time to do so, then that adds more tension and drama. No so much if the choice is easy.

  • i can see that u r a hardcore fan of luke but it doesnt help .... whats done can't be undone

  • People are getting crazier by hours in this forum.

  • This ending might not even exist. Could of been an idea or half complete. Telltale won't do this just because you want it.

  • I know, but that's why I like the petition because it states that they should at least release a Director's cut of the episode, like games have done in the past, showing what would of happened if it was Luke and Kenny.

  • No. Luke died, thats it. They surely aint gonna do it just cause you didnt like Luke's death. These endings are fine.

  • same here i don't know if i could choose between Luke or Kenny because Luke has be like a older brother to Clem and Kenny always wanted the best for her and has be like a father to her so it would of have changed Clem in a huge way if she had to kill one of them

  • Leaked on the internet by who? From a trustworthy source?

  • This is such bullshit.

  • Anyway, it's not like they could rewrite the episode.

    This petition won't do anything.

  • thanks, i think that too ;)

a real happy ending just does not fit the walking dead.

i doubt there was ever such an ending.

telltale seemed to want to be unpredictable the entire season. luke vs. kenny was just to obvious.
