who would you want for season three?
There's actually multiple different characters that we already know, who could be our main protagonist for the next season. These people are either alive or missing.
Clementine. Personally, I think her arc is finished but that doesn't Telltale couldn't try to continue to show her grow in the zombie apocalypse. If they go this route, I think it should reflect the different endings. Completely different stories based off the ending you chose and completely different endings at the end of season 3 to quadrupole the replay value.
Lilly. Oh, I can feel the hate building in some of you already. However, this is still a character who I'd love to see developed further. She's not quite the antagonist but still caused some grief for the group in season 1 but had also nothing left to loose. "I don't have anything left." This would be an interesting character to play. Someone who isn't as innocent as Clementine and who've we seen make the mistakes in the past... One famous mistake in particular that Lee actually made himself off screen(killing a senator and all). However, we did tend to be more forgiving towards Lee. We weren't there and didn't see Lee kill the senator like we Lilly do to Doug/Carley. It may be a little heart warming to see some people take Lilly in, despite what she may have done in the past.
Christa. All of us wondered what the Hell happened to her in the first episode of season three. This could be the chance to show what exactly did happen to here by having her return in season three. First, she lost Omid, then, she presumably lost the baby, and now she's been separated from Clementine. The next season could be about her trying to find Clementine, dealing with Walkers and new people, and further development as a character.
Arvo, Mike, or Bonnie. I put these three together for obvious reasons. They all happened to leave under similar circumstances. They were afraid of Kenny and ran. Some may still like Mike and Bonnie and want to see what happened to them. Depending on how you play, they could feel bad for their actions against the group and nearly killing Clementine for that matter... It's just an opinion some might have and figured I should atleast give you this option.
Molly. You remember the awesome character from season 1 episode 4. She saved Lee, Clem, and Kenny from Walkers, then, helped get us supplies for the boat. Why not have a chance to be her?
The 400 days characters. Apart from Bonnie, the other characters from 400 days didn't exactly play a big role in season 2. I even felt like there wasn't really enough time spent with them in the DLC. How about next season we focus on one of them and what happened after the incident at Carver's camp? Personally, I'd like to spend more time with these guys.
New character completely. Maybe you'd rather have what happened to these characters be left up to your imagination and have a new experience all together. Some of you do, as I've read in other threads.
Which character do you want to be for season 3 or do you think it's time that they move on to something else and leave TWD series as it is? Feel free to comment and discuss below.

Clementine, maybe not playable... if not then she can talk about who she was with, this is different depending on Season 2s ending. in the lastest Playing Dead they kind of hinted Clementine will infact be in Season 3.

Yeah and these 5 different endings- It could be something like 5 different season 3 openings-- then another timeskip (1-2 years) and then-- noone knows what happened and all 5 endings will turn into one place... But thats only my thoughts!
I'm 70% sure Clem WILL BE season 3 protagonist
Just an idea I had, but what if they make season 3 Clementine's last season regardless of a horrible choice you have to make towards the end?
Here's the setup:
You start as Clem after a time skip. AJ is now a bit older and Clem spends S3 teaching him how to survive and they both trust each other completely and get along well. Then, at the end of S3, AJ gets into trouble and YOU (as Clem) are given a choice. You can either save AJ but sacrifice yourself, or let him die and Clem carries on living.
Just a thought...

Lilly as the protagonist would be the best choice and then have Clem as the secondary character.
Remember what hapend to Kenny. He lost at 1st Season and comeback at 2nd. The same thing might hapend to Christa.
EDIT: But it doesn't change that Clementine is a Main character of all game even if she isn't be a protagonist of 3 season.

I hope its not EXACTLY like that because if that's the case you might as well play season 1 again, except this time rename Lee as Clem and rename Clem as AJ. Wouldn't be too original huh. Let's hope not.
Clementines story is not over yet! She makes the most sense.
However with that said, I would love to know what happened to Christa. It'd be quite nice if we played as Christa but on the same time line from when she was separated from Clem and and it was only in the last episode that the two end up reunited. I think that would be a real nice way to end Clem's story and get all those unanswered questions we didn't get from Christa's disappearance.
However that said, I would kinda like to know what happened to Bonnie and Mike aswell but I think that might be better as DLC. I don't really care about Lily or Arvo.

Clem for sure. But I honestly, and sadly, don't see it happening beyond anything more than a cameo.
I would definitely say Clem as a first choice, and Mike as a second choice. I know some people don't really like him after ep 5, but I for some reason still empathize, and I actually see this as possible/Telltale may consider it, seeing as they removed the option to shoot him in ep 5.
I know Clementine is going to be in Season 3 so If Kenny/Jane dies I want them to bring in Lilly or Christa
What exactly are the survival techniques that Clementine would teach a toddler? Sorry, but I can't see TellTale making timeskip bigger than a few months, if we're talking about Clem as protagonist of Season 3.

I want to be a character in TWDG.
I want to see Clementine. I know some people consider her story is over or that they want to play as an adult character etc. but from my point of view her story is still not over, in fact it started to get even more interesting. Okay maybe I'm not ready to let her go yet, although the idea of starting all over with a new protagonist sounds a bit exciting, the idea of letting go the emotional attachment I built for Clem after all this time sounds quite depressing. With that said, the other characters I would like to see again are Kenny, Christa, Molly and Russell.
The first thing I want to see pop up in season 3 is Clementine and AJ
She becomes the new lee in season 3 taking care of AJ and teaching him new things that will come in handy for him when he grows up.Beautiful and touching moments can happen here...
Vince would be interesting protagonist... Clem is great and all... but playing as a little girl with superhuman powers is still a little odd for me... seriously, someone like her should die in the first episode of this season when she was chased by bearded-hobo-villain xD There just isn't any 12 year old girl that can overpower healthy, fully grown man... I love this game and I love Clem... but playing this season was... well... weird...
Make Edith the season 3 protaganist!
It wasn't like it was an MMA match when she fought off Winston. She used her surroundings to her advantage and fought dirty.
I'd say Christa is my favorite candidate for new protagonist, as her disappearance is a mystery that's been deliberately unresolved (whereas Lilly was abandoned initially to tie-in with a storyline in the comics), she has a pre-existing relationship with Clementine to expand on and a goal to head towards (Wellington), and she's a competent young woman who'd still be made vulnerable by her leg injury.

Plot-wise, the only possible protagonists are Clementine, a new character, or maybe Mike. All other characters have developed personalities, and AJ won't be playable because the game can't timeskip past the comic. Possibly Mike because he hasn't had that much established personality or backstory aside from the fact that he's a nice guy.

Clem, for sure, would be my first pick. If we get Clem I will probably nab the first episode right away and buy the season pass. If it's somebody else I'll probably wait for them all to release and get them all at once whenever they go on sale, but only if spoiler free reviews and a couple of my buddies tell me that it's good.
