Sigh, guess the same save file gremlin got into my game as well, strangely the problems occurred in the past couple of days. Tried renaming the save file (prefs.prop to prefs.prop.bak), but the title is still having trouble recognizing the right saves from episode 1, and switches randomly between the episodes. I don't mind replaying the first episode, but having to do this every time tends to be repetitive to say the least. What's even more odd I had no issues the last time I've played it months ago, and I didn't uninstall or modify anything in the meantime. Below is the link to the tool file.

Please rename the prefs.prop file in
F:\Programy\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, then restart the game and your saves should be restored.
