  • Hmm tough question.....

I'd say the Jocks. They are just a bunch of "dumb roid monkeys" as Hopkins says. Stupid steroid addicted morons, but, funny as hell. ;) Although I like them all.

Haha, I might as well ask you this too. Since you may be the only Bully fan apart from me on here. Who's your favorite social group in the game: Jocks, nerds, preps, greasers, or townies?

  • I played it some it was funtacular. :3

Yeah, definitely, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best in the series. You ever played the mercenaries? It was my fav part of the game. XD

  • Yep, I gotta agree. :) They are all likable in their own weird way, y'know? Gotta give Rockstar props for that, hopefully a sequel will be released for next-gen soon!

  • Me too. I would buy that in a heartbeat

  • Mostly GTA V and a little X-COM: Enemy Within. Stuff I can play a bit at a time.

  • Been slowly replaying Dragon Age in anticipation of Inquisition in about 80 days or so.

  • I've got it on PS3. Awesome game.

Heard some good reviews for this game but never got a chance to play it for myself until now:

  • Just finished Bioshock Infinite. Mind Officially Blown!

    Loved it.

I agree. Bioshock Infinite is a great game.

  • Great minds think alike, I started doing exactly the same thing last weekend.

Cool, what're you playing, character-wise? I'm doing my usual female Dalish rogue in DA:O/witty male mage in DA2.

I've done the exact same runthrough a few times before, but it's become my accepted 'canon' import. :S

  • Um, did we just become best friends?

That's exactly the race/class combination I chose too. I'm also going to finish a playthorugh as a mage in DA:O because I get a feeling if you free the circle in Ferelden as your boon, it might cause some major chaos coming into Inquisition.

  • Hehe, I guess so. Coincidence much. :S

I'm looking forward to seeing if any of the boons have some effect later on. The Dalish one apparently went very badly, according to Alistair's DA2 cameo - and we're visiting the land the Dalish were granted in Inquisition, so one would think we'd get more details on how exactly it messed up.

    Here's hoping.

Who did y'all romance in DA1 and DA2? I'm always interested in who people choose XD

I always go with Alistair and Fenris. Fenris is my # 1 video game romance option, next to Garrus of course. But I understand why people dislike Fenris, he is a bit psycho with his mage hate. -__-

For my Warden, she went with Leliana. She's probably among my favourite characters in DA, along with Varric.

Hawke, he had an awkward one-night stand with Isabela and then frequented the brothel. Yeah.

  • In Origins I went for the trifecta Alistair, Leliana and sort of Zevran (you can't fully complete the love status with him without a final jealousy talk triggering).

DA2 I went Male Mage Hawke with Fenris (Ik right, Gideon Emery how can you say no to that).

SergeantSnookie - It's funny you should mention Varric, so disappointed he's not a romatic option coming into Inqusition.

    Bully. Need I say more?

@SergeantSnookie I like Leliana, her voice/accent is so different plus she is just a cool character. And OMG for DA 2 the brothel people are so crazy. XD And Varric is like the Dragon Age version of Garrus in my opinion, both epicly awesome characters whom always have our back.

@Brownsa Gideon Emery as Fenris is the most sexy voice acting ever. Next to Elias Toufexis as Adam Jensen in Dues Ex Human Revolution. Is it even possible to have a friendly romance with Fenris if you're a mage? I have a hard enough time having a friendly romance with him as a Warrior Hawke. XD

Darn, I would've played a dwarf just so I could romance Varric. XD But I love Cullen, and will definitely try romancing him.

  • You can do a friendly romance as a mage but if your going to play pro-mage freedom, leave him behind on quests like this and support anti-slavery/blood magic whilst he is in your party. The Rivalry romance is alot eaiser as a mage, plus IMO makes more sense if you want to be pro-mages.

I feel you, I would have played a dwarf at one point just for that. I guess he's still hung up on Bianca. :S

Ok..... This is going to be long because I have ADD I cant sit still with one game. I need variety and I can never stick to one game.

    1. Skyrim I recently reinstalled and put a shitton mods on here. Its not even the same game anymore! Vampire mod that lets me control how it works like sunlight will kill me in mere seconds and it actually knows when I'm in shade or when the wether keeps the sun behind clouds... A light mod that lets you control how dark it is at night or in dungeons. Man it feels like real life now makes it almost impossible to see without a vision ability or torches! And thats only a small part of it! Alt text
    2. Fallout: New Vegas 3rd time playing and still as fresh as the first time. And with how big the world is and how many quests and locations there are you can imagine how many hours that means. Plus now that I have all the DLC I can finally say I'll have experienced EVERYTHING! Dead Money is so good! and Old World Blues is hilarious. Alt text
    3. Batman: Arkham City This game has never been removed from my harddrive since release. I'm not exaggerating when I say I have never gotten bored of this game. Even though I've gotten 100% on it, played through the story at least 20 (its probably more like 30) times and have sped run it. I've done the Harley Quinn's DLC several times and even when I have no desire to do the story I still do the challenges. And since the DLC adds Robin and Nightwing each with their own playstyles I can alternate between them, Bats, and Catwoman to ensure that it never ever ever ever ever gets stale. This fucking game right here is the very reason I'm so passionate about gaming! Alt text
    4. Sleeping Dogs.... Imagine GTA set in Hong Kong with a really cool premise of you as a undercover cop. Awesome story... Awesome hand to hand combat... and decent shooting/driving/open world. A MAN IS NEVER REALLY A MAN WITHOUT A PORK BUN IN HIS MOUTH Alt text
    5. Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. The gameplay itself is fun but its nothing special. The story is completely forgettable but I got it for 5 bucks on a steam sale so I ain't complaining. Alt text
    6. Dishonored A friend recently gifted this to me. Really awesome. First person stealth/parkour/action with magic! The level design here is really neat. I love the various ways you can approach each target. Holy crap! I just stopped time teleported passed everyone killed the guy and then slipped away by posessing a fish! Whats not to love? Alt text
    7. Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Gotta meet my RTS quota somehow lol. Alt text
    8. Saints Row 2... Without fail I play one and go onto the next. And the cycle continues. There may come a day when I wont be playing a Saints Row but that is not this day. Need something that is completely aware that its a video game. Just put this on when I don't want to take anything seriously Alt text
    9. Oh and of course I"m on another replay of Walking Dead season 1 but ya'll don't need me to tell you how awesome that is!
  • I'll take realistic reboot version over jaggy big boobs Lara anyday. I say she's effing gorgeous in the reboot!

The reboot is amazing. I have it for 360 it's an awesome game. Plus Lara is hot. :P

  • Yes! Also notice her MASSIVE............................................ boots

    By God she's got huge......wings.

  • That goes to Chaos Theory.

It was okay, not the best Splinter Cell I've played.

  • I liked it a lot. It made up for a lot of Conviction's problems (that one was a straight up action movie game) and let stealth actually be a thing. I don't like how stealth is only an option in a series where stealth was the whole bleeding point but at least it is an option again.

Awesome games. How is splinter cell? any good?

  • nnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggg. I hated 6 so much!

Yayyyy! RE6 is amazing! Not scary like the originals, but still really addicting game play.

  • I cannot agree with you.... But I'll not make this into an argument.

Yeah, definitely, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best in the series. You ever played the mercenaries? It was my fav part of the game. XD

  • I think the reboot Lara Croft is better because she is dressed better for survival and more modestly dressed and not just showing her boobs everywhere.

I was just recommend Bioshock Infinite, what a beautiful game and still holds it own against some of the cr@p that's been released recently.

  • Their stories are completely separate from each other.

Have I completely stuffed myself here? Can I go back and play Bioshock 1 or have I ruined everything by playing Infinite first?

Who didn't I romance? Honestly. I don't remember in 2 since I've pretty much blocked that one from my memory but I must've done a playthrough where I've done every possible romance in Origins.

  • Well thats a good point but I like it more because it looks more like a person and less like polygons. Early PS1 3D graphics have not aged well at all.

It ties into the Witch Hunt DLC quite a bit too, as you actually go back to where the whole story began for a Dalish Warden, and have quite a bit of insight on the DLC's premise beforehand.

And it was pretty cool how they brought back the same clan in DA2 and gave a bunch of callbacks.

I'd also recommend doing a female character for it, because there's a particularly depressing little extra bit of content thrown in that way. >>

  • :-) It wasn't that bad, definitely was no Origins but it was okay. My biggest complaint was the re-used background models and it became a little too button mashing for my tastes, but I enjoyed the story immensely.

  • The combat is "boring" the story "sucks" the ending "makes no sense" ect ect ect. A lot of it is just they just wanted more Rapture. i thought it was great! Rapture was good and creepy underwater city but it was nice having this big cloud city! I personally loved it.

The combat was the only thing I didn't hate and even that is problematic since we have enough action games as it is! Take away one of the last good tactics based RPGs that isn't a turned based JRPG just to appeal to the people easily bored with having to think. The reusing of the same interiors for every dungeon, building... The one city! Like 3 locations outside the city? I can't remember the story at all.

If I want action an RPG I'd play one. The Witcher 2 does it much better anyway. And there's no doubt it was forcefully rushed just to meet a deadline.

Yeah you've hit it spot on and with the Witcher 2 & Skyrim released in the same year as DAII it was completely owned. It seems as if Bioware has learned from it, the gameplay demos for Inquisition i've seen so far look amazing and battle systems seems to be more tactical based which is completely up my alley.
