Scared to read this thread as ive just ordered the trilogy (should be delivered today infact), I always thought ME was just some standard space adventure, its only last week I find out its the epic game it is with decisions all kver the place... I carnt wait!!!!!!!! !
Do you know anything about it? If not be careful, I dont want to ruin anything about it. Also play the games in order, very importent and no matter how slow the first game may be dont give up, again very importent. The last importent thing is have fun and come back to share your love of the series with us!

No I nothing, as it stands I know its set in space and the story and atmosphere are supposed to be awsome and engaging.
As for playing them in order, yea thats why I decided on geting the trilogy, if im going to experience this I may as well get the full deal .... ive heard the first game has a few issues but ive done my homework and I can usualy see past that guf if the story is there, I really carnt wait... (didnt get delivered today pretty cheesed off tonight I can tell ya lol)
I feel a bit silly as ive always been a story guy, but always dismissed ME because of its space theme (not really my thing but saying that zombies never have either and i love TWD LOL) carnt stand games with no story or a weak story, I was actually on another forum talking about TWD when some guy posted about games like TWD (story/choices) and ME was the top of everyones list, so I did a little homework and looks awsome.... I might be late to the show but at least I have 3 games already out lol:).. I did the same with TWD.. I didnt try it untill 3rd ep of S2 so I was able to play S1 from start to finish
I will defo report back on my career once I get started...
Any recommendations on forst playthrough char? I was thinking soldier as it seems the easiest at first so I can just get into the story and flow of things, but im not that bothered about all the weps u get with soldier as im a bit more of a tactical player, any opinions?

Well I always played as a soldier and heres a tip for when you play the first two games as you get the hang of it.
In the first game play… more a lot of side quests and do the main missions in this order... Liara's dig site, Noveria, Feros, THEN Virmire.
In the second game do loyalty missions when you get them and when you pick things up in missions open them on the ship immediately.
Thats some good tips so have fun!
I honestly find this so much more hilarious than the Renegade option. The snotty tone of his voice always gets me.

I always play as a soldier, because you can use all the different weapons. When you're a biotic or a infiltrator etc. all the different classes has exclusive weapons they can use, but a soldier can use all of them.
I absolutely fell in love with Astronomy because of this game. I personally think Space is the coolest thing, people don't realize how tiny we are compared to the hugeness of the universe.

The sniper rifle physics in ME 1 were ridiculous, and as someone who's pretty well versed in firing Rifles in real life, I couldn't imagine my arm being the fucking shakey. Like seriously Bioware? XD
Except me, whenever I have personal problems I just think... "im a tiny speck on a random backwater planet, hell there could be a interstellar war happening and here feeling sad because my GF broke up with me" then I laugh, shrug it off and watch Youtube. XD

Chears for that info! !... especially the mission order, ive been reading horror stories of players going to planets or missions that they just wasn't ready for skill wise, so ive been after that bit of info on mission order so thanks a lot for that..
One thing I dont inderstand is this second play through thing ive been reading about to get to lvl 60...
Ok understand that 1st time through you can only max at lvl 50 if you do prety much everything (side missions and so on) and on your 2nd PT you can get lvl 60 again if you do everything, BUT..... is this lvl 60 a braggin rights thing or does it unlock a bit more in ME2, I want the full deal on my first playthrough ME 1 > 3 so if this 2nd run matters in the 2nd game ill do it but if its just a braggin thing I think I will just go strait into 2... anyone clear this one up for me?

Level 60 only gets you to level 5 immediately in ME2 so it doesnt really matter. I jumped into ME2 immediately after ME1, I went to Gamestop that same day, I dont regret it. If you have any more questions ask us/me, we are seasoned veterans.

I tend to play way more towards paragon, but as its my first run im just going to emerce myself in the story and just go with instinct, but that should give me a pretty good score towards paragon as its how I usualy play anyway...
It reminded me of the actual ending in many ways and the Tali scene was also good, to think Shepard was banging that for three games! (Determinantly of course)

A fellow Soldier player! I haven't come across many. Most tend to be either Biotics or Vanguards.
Why have superpowers when you can shotgun rain everybody
If this was a gif I'd be spamming it all over the forums! XD

I upgrade the shit out of my assault rifle mastery and then add the Polonium rounds upgrade to it and watch everything disintegrate in seconds. XD
I love the achievement in ME3 where you get it by putting people on fire out of their misery.
I got that in the first 30 minutes XD
The assault rifle is my favorite. Anyone else can't aim for shit with the sniper rifle? XD

Joker's Sister
I just found this out... Wow.
Yeah, it sucks. And if you let her have the gun, she kills herself and you lose asari assets.
Thats why my Shepard always reads the contract before saying yes.

Just gonna leave this here Enough said.
Okay well good luck and you can make your log on this thread. Curious if youre going to play paragon/good or renagade/evil.
I remember thinking on that choice for. A. Long. Time.
Shepard Approves

I'll just leave this here.

" We'll bang OK"
Omg yes, this had me dying the first time I heard it.
I've never seen this mission before, Side Mission? If so, Do you know the name of it?
Well it looks like the enemies are Blue Suns' Mercs, and that's all I can tell. Sorry I just grabbed this video off of youtube.
Okay, Thanks. I've also noticed that the Mercs are blue suns.
It's not screaming, it's their war cry.
It might be the Perguatory mission but im not sure.
Edit: Im sure its one of the hidden side quests to receive something from a pirated ship.

Maybe this one: http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/N7:_Blue_Suns_Base

Yeah, and...save often, there still are some glitchs, some good...some not so good.
