Recently I've played Dark Souls I & II. And now I'm currently replaying the Max Payne series. Max Payne 2 is one of the very first games that I've played, and as you can imagine, the nostalgia is very high. I highly recommend the Max Payne series to anyone who hasn't played it.

Haha, I might as well ask you this too. Since you may be the only Bully fan apart from me on here.
Who's your favorite social group in the game: Jocks, nerds, preps, greasers, or townies?
Heh, same strategy here, spam strength/dexterity and swing for the fences. The only real difference was access to heavier armor and focusin… moreg on DPS instead of critical damage.
Honestly, I'd play it a lot more if not for the fucking FADE! Several hours of pure misery.... Unfortunately, I'm a console peasant, so there's no mods for skipping it.
Eh, I was kinda okay with it. But of course there were some choices I just couldn't make, for example killing dog. I mean, why would you do that? Funny thing is that at the end of the game I had like 4 companions, becouse others were either dead or gone.
I have even my own disaster playthrough where I play as a psycho and kill almost everyone I can.
I've tried this, but I'm too much … moreof a wuss to follow through with it. Desecrating the ashes and killing Leliana...being a dick to Varric...couldn't do it. I just froze up. :S
I'm very grateful Inquisition has the Keep, so I can make those kind of save games without actually having to do them. >>
Yeah... The Fade is one of the best parts IMO. No possible way it took several hours. Unless my memory sucks you barely spend any time in it.
The Depp Roads is the worst though. That is several hours and its just the same bland look throughout. If it weren't for the Brood Mother boss fight there'd be nothing going for it.
I love playing evil! RUnning around murdering people in GTA is fun but it doesn't really play an impact in the story! Games like DAO or New Vegas that let you side with the bad guys is great. I need to do a full Ceaser's Legion playthrough!

Hah, I remember that part. I was smiling the first time I saw it and thought, "Did Remedy just make fun of their own game?" Awesome sequence nevertheless.
You're not the only one. One of the reasons I want Bigby to wear his trench coat if a second season is made!
Oh, and speaking of Max Payne.

You might as well give that up and take a trip over to your trusted Walmart or Best Buy to buy the copy. Or wait until the next-gen version comes out. :P
Just got done playing Persona with 100% completion.
Now I'm about to start Persona 2: Innocent Sin and plan to finish that with 100% … morecompletion.
Then I'm gonna go through all these...
...In preparation for this.
Yeah, the Persona series is pretty badass. One of my top 3 (or 5?) favorite video game series. Though I like the Shin Megami Tensei games a tad bit more... maybe by a few points. Have you played any of the other Megami Tensei series?
Persona is freaking awesome man, though I'm probably not as big a fan as you. I'm currently playing these on my vita:
Persona 3 Portable
… more
Persona 4 golden (best game ever in my opinion)
Persona 4 arena
I'm also looking forward too:
Persona 4 arena ultimax
Persona. 5 (first game I'm gonna buy for my ps4 once I get it.)
Persona 4 dancing all night

Hm, if you have a PS2 or PS3, I would personally recommend Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne (Lucifer's Call, if you live in Europe). It's really fun and interesting. It's not as character driven as Persona 4 but plays like a Persona game nonetheless.
Basically you take the role of a Japanese highschooler (like the Persona games) who's a mute and makes decisions based on dialogue choices. In the beginning of the game, Tokyo gets destroyed and becomes a wasteland infested with demons; zombies, spirits and monsters from various religions and mythologies (All Shin Megami Tensei games essentially take place in apocalyptic settings).
The main character is on the verge of death barely surviving the "conception" until Lucifer saves him by turning him into a demon. The game pretty much revolves around making moral and grey decisions that shape the main protagonist and possibly the world he's in. In Tokyo, there are only about 5 humans left, two of them being the main character's best friends, and each of them have their own views and ideology on how the new world should be. One of them for example, is a Social Darwinist and wants to make a world were only the strong live and the weak perish, like Carver from the Walking Dead Season 2. The other wants things to be pretty much the way they are, and by that I mean, live in world infested with demons where everyone can do whatever the hell they want without suffering any consequences while completely ignoring one another... in other words, total chaos.
The other 3 humans have different world views of their own, but I don't want to spoil them and make my post too long.
Basically, each of the surviving humans want to play God and recreate the world in their own image and will go as far as to kill one another, even the main character
The cool thing is, you can actually choose to side and help one of the humans to obtain their ideal world, or you can go against them all and create the world in your image, such as returning the world to the way it was before it was destroyed, or further destroy it making the world worse.
I'm playing the Mass Effect series for the FIRST time. I just recently started the second one. I'm also playing Red Dead Redemption, Infamous 1, Sleeping Dogs, Just Cause 2, and the first Max Payne.

Metro 2033 usually went over my head, so I usually didn't think about picking it up when I saw it. I decided to give the Last Light title a try, and I fuckin loved it.

One thing I gotta warn you about is that the game is FUCKING hard. Especially if you're a completionist like me. Being the masochist that I am, on my first playthrough I went through the game completely blind (without using a guide and knowing what happens or what was ahead) on hard mode and was pretty much getting killed a crapton by just the random demon encounters in the game.
A plethora of the enemies a little ways into the beginning use a a lot of cheap kill moves that can kill the main character in one hit, and like Persona 3 & 4, you can get a game over if the main character dies regardless if your party members are still active. I remember one time when I was playing, I got ambush by demons (a group of Sarutahiko) in the third city of the game and got killed by one of them in just one hit. What he did was boost his attacks so that he did more damage on his first turn and killed me in his second turn with the damage doing over 800 points of damage (the highest your HP can go up to is 999 by the way). I think my HP was only somewhere between 200-300 at the time, and I was doing some level grinding. It annoyed me too because I went up like three levels without saving until I got killed by that damn demon, and ended up loosing about an hour or so of gameplay. XD
EDIT: By the way, did you beat Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden?

Max Payne, hell yes!
Back when I played TWAU for the first time the game totally reminded me of the Payne series.
Not long ago I played Alice Madness Returns. A very good game!
I was always was with the preps for some reason... I have no idea why. Loved Bully.
Sheesh, why does everyone hate Fade? It's not that bad. Now Deep roads, that's another thing, I think it's too long. But Fade's fun.

Perhaps it was because of their condescending attitude and well-dressed demeanor that made you come to like them?
That sucks, you're missing out on some pretty cool updates.
Yea.. we called gamestop about it and they said the could try to get a new copy to us but it has now been month and half without no calls from them.
You might as well give that up and take a trip over to your trusted Walmart or Best Buy to buy the copy. Or wait until the next-gen version comes out. :P
I think it was the boxing skills lol.
Though I did wear that Aquaberry Sweater for awhile..

The last of us.
Played some classic Dead Rising 3 coop with a friend this past weekend, very fun!
Currently I'm playing this greatness trying to get 100% Trophies.
I loved Last Light. So getting this when I get me PS4.

Just Cause 2 is a good game.
It looks awesome I think I might check it out
Both you guys should tell us what you think after you've played through them. I'm really interested to see what choices you guys will choose.
You never played 2033?

Red Dead Redemption, man...
Beautiful story.

Surprisingly enough, I've finally grabbed the old classic "Riven" to play again and am STILL blown away by the atmosphere it sets! #mindblown
