I think this song matches up almost perfectly with how Kenny felt about his own death and how he wanted to die so Clem would be safe from him. Them Feels.

Why the fuck would you kill Kenny if it makes you sad. I'm sure no one would cry if Jane died so let him take out his anger and kill her. She said to stay out of it so I did and the bitch got what she deserved and died!
I didn't love Kenny but I did care for him (I pulled Jane off him when she was beating on him) and I was nice to him when he wasn't being a dick, but I did shoot him becuase he started the fight and tried to kill Jane, I couldn't let him just murder her out of rage, I was sad to find out that he did all this for no reason (even though he had no good reason in the first place) since the baby was alive, but I did still forgive Jane. I don't want to skip back and re-do stuff because it defeats the purpose of the game.
Yeah he did, I know its determinant but even if you shot him in the chest and he was still alive, he would either bleed out or freeze to death, He was shot, had a huge cut through the stomach, (the second he touched it he had blood all over his hands and shirt) his eye was bleeding again from Jane sticking her finger in it and he was lying in the snow. He was dead.

Not just dislike, but, actually wanting him dead. Just like Carver or any other bad guy.
I probably wouldn't cry, but I'd be a helluva lot sadder than I was when I gleefully shot Kenny.
