Hey guys do any of you have any suggestions for a game I should play? I want to start a new game but am unsure of one. Lemme know of some that you guys like.

Some games I really enjoyed are Tomb Raider (reboot), Assassin's Creed series, Batman Arkham city, stuff along those lines. Not a big fan on RPG's but willing to give them another go. I play on Xbox 360 btw

Well what kind of games do you like?

Edit: I recommend mass effect 1,2 and 3

  • Bully: Scholarship Edition - if you haven't played it before you won't regret it. ;)

  • What platforms do you have?

Also some games you really liked would help pick out a better game for you.

Uncharted 2 (if ya like action and adventure, you will love this, but the whole series is great)

Batman Arkham Asylum & Arkham City (highly rated!)

    The Last of Us

    Beyond: Two Souls

    Heavy Rain

    Bully

    Max Payne

    LA Noire

    Mirror's Edge

    Silent Hill 2 & 3

    Alice Madness Returns

    Just Cause 2

  • Xbox360/Ps3:

    The last of us

    Batman arkham series

    Mafia 2 ( It's 3 bucks on Xbox live now, I think)

    Red dead redemption

L.a. noire ( if you're into detective stuff)

The elder scrolls: Skyrim (Pc also, super awesome mods)

Far cry 3 (Ingludes a map editor, I've spent hundreds of hours messing with it)

    Pc:

    Garry's mod

    The orange box

  • The last of us.

  • If you're interested in a great story, try Silent Hill 2. No need to play the first, it's a standalone title to the franchise. It also has great psychological horror if you're interested in that as well.

  • Mass Effect Trilogy...Hands down.

  • Metal Gear Solid

    Mass Effect

    Uncharted

    Half-Life

    Bully

    Max Payne

    Saints Row 2

I fell in love with these games when I first played them.

  • Saints Row 2 I loved that game.

  • I prefer the gangsta style over the plain wacky stuff.

    4 is better than 3

  • Yeah and play the gangs in any order, SR2 was linear but felt choice based, SR3 was just linear.

  • My favorite gang was the Ronin. What's yours?

Yeah and play the gangs in any order, SR2 was linear but felt choice based, SR3 was just linear.

  • Ultor was awesome but gang wise I gotta say Ronin.

  • Yeah!

    TeamRonin

  • Based off your preferences, there are a few games I could recommend.

Splinter Cell (Conviction or the new one) -- Never played em', but the stealth and action gameplay, sounds like it's up your alley.

Far Cry 3 -- Story kind of sucks, but the combat and exploration is great. There's a ton of ways to tackle each outpost. Silently stab guards one by one, snipe from afar with a Bow, or just run in with guns blazing. My favorite tactic is to find a pack of enemies, stab one and use the poor bastard's sidearm to kill everyone else.

Dishonored -- Kind of like Far Cry, but more emphasis on stealth and in a fantasy setting. You can choose to show restraint and spare people's lives or just do what I did and stab anything that walks.

  • All the suggestions above are really good games, but I feel I should add those two games:

The Max Payne series and Alan Wake. They are both really good games. Max Payne is a third person shooter with a lot of noir elements in it, a good story and a true "badass" protagonist. Alan Wake is a survival horror game. Don't let the genre mislead you, it is a great game from start to finish.

Both games are made by the same company(Remedy) although Rockstar Games published Max Payne 2 and developed the third one. You will see a lot of similarities between them, especially when you explore the levels. In Max Payne you will stumble across a TV with one of the different shows airing, and you can stop to watch them should you wish to do so. Pretty much the same goes for Alan Wake, where you can also find a TV to watch "Night Springs" which is a reference to the Twilight Zone. Alan Wake also contains a lot of references: The Twilight Zone, Twin Peaks, Stephen King novels, Lost, etc.

    Here are a few examples:

Max Payne has "Dick Justice" as one of the shows. Ironically, this was supposed to be Max at first.

    And now for Alan Wake...

Witcher 2 or Silent Hill 2. Both are totally worth playing. You won't regret playing them. You can also play Alan Wake. Very good game. ; >

  • Hm. Just to troll you, I suggest RollerCoasterTycoon 3.

Just kidding, I have no idea, but if you like tormenting fictional characters, try The Sims. I really have no idea. :P

  • Played Roller Coaster Tycoon. Really good if you have the expansion packs.
