Apocalipse? If yes, what kind of it?

Me, personally, I don't want the apocalipse to happen.

I've been around this topic for a while - writing stories and such - meaning I heard a lot of people talking about the apocalipse and how much they would like it to happened. Guess it could be kinda interesting to see how the world changed, but still, I feel like humanity strives for the apocalypse and we don't need to call another one.

How do you understand this term? What "apocalipse" means to you?

If you'd be forced to choose, which one will you pick?

OTHER - describe below.

I consider myself a realist, so I'd say the worldwide cataclysmic. Infected is a thing too (a virus, fungus, epidemic). Read about creating real zombies here, watch about Corcydeps affect insects on the YT.

What about you? Do you want to live in the apocalipse? Feel free to discuss.

  • I consider an apocalypse to be an event that wipes out sizable chunk of the country (at least around 30%), destroys all but the most robust forms of infrastructure, and fundamentally changes the way people survive from then on. A super volcanic eruption would do the trick and there's pretty much nothing anyone would be able to do about it.

Fuck no I wouldn't want to live in an apocalypse. No one in their right mind would.

  • Plenty of other people would. This sounds crazy, if you ask me.

  • I don't want it to happen...kinda.

I mean, it's fun to think about all the things you'd do and stuff. But 1 day in the actual apocalypse I'd go crazy.

As for what...cataclysmic seems most realistic.

btw of what games are the screenshots for the cataclysmic event?

What game is the final pictures?

I would say the nuclear one is the most realistic. No, who the hell would want to live in the apocalypse? You'd lose almost all your friends and family, and each moment would be with the fear of starving, dying, etc

  • I Am Alive. Game site.

The second one is actually a movie. It's called The Road.

  • Thanks. I heard about the game once, but completley forgot about it.

  • I kinda liked it. Give it a try if you can.

  • Maybe I will in the near future

  • I'd like to live in the apocalipse.. Like you can start your life all over again and do something what really counts. and you wouldn't have to pay them taxes

Personally, I wouldn't want it to happen either.
Nor do I think it will happen any of the ways you describe.
But NO, I wouldn't want to live in something like that.
I would if I had to, but it's not at all on my bucket-list.
I mean, who'd honestly want to be forced live in a situation where everyone you've ever loved died?
Not me, I'll tell you that!

I guess if I had to choose, I'd pick zombies, and the only reason being is that they're slow moving, and their easy to outsmart.

    And as far as weapons.
I'd carry my 12 inch Bowie Knife.
    And a hatchet.

  • The Rapture.

    Boom. Ur screwed.
