Alright, I'll bite.
What the hell is it?
This is a online in real life capture the flag. You download this app on your phone and it calculates your location using GPS. You then use your phone to find enemy faction portals at landmarks in your city, fight the factions defenses and take the location. You have to defend that location but to do that you need to team up with faction members in real life and go to that location.
Theres a worldwide storyline and there are "Helios artifacts" around the world people must go to that actual location in real life and using their phones collect it and trade it off to get it to the drop point some where else in the world. The trick is that the opposite faction and steal this artifact right off your phone and take it to their drop point. The other thing is operations, where people of one faction work together to have a security link over entire countries or oceans. Its pretty cool and im new to it so i dont know everything yet.
Sounds kinda of neat, but I live in the sticks, so....
