Well it's true that there's no way he could have survived, but we didn't actually see him die. The last we see of him, he's trying to break … morefree of the walker and then he disappears. It's similar to Kenny in Season 1, but even if Luke had held his breath long enough to escape, and not frozen to death, why wouldn't go to the house? Clementine nearly froze to death after falling in, so no, Luke is dead.
I was pointing out that he would have gone to the house if he'd survived. And since there is no reason for him not to go to the rest of the group, then he is dead.
