4 endings!!

So... normally I feel like on the "important" choices it really rarely matters what choice you make as the ultimate outcome is usually the same. Like, no matter which way you choose to help Luke on the lake, Bonnie lives and Luke dies, basically the same way.

So for me, this is really the first time a season has ended where you have the possibility of 4 different endings where, in one outcome, one character is still alive while in others the same character is dead. I've heard people saying TT is just going to force people to start with whatever character they decide to go with in the 3rd season. This really doesn't seem like a viable option to me, even if a very small percentage went one way. There are still three other options a player could have gone.

I'm guessing that they'll have to write the first episode based on the choice each player made, while having both characters dead by episode end so they'll have an easier time moving forward. What this means to me is that they're dimply going back to the way most of the important decisions go. That is, no matter what decisions you make, the outcome ends up the same. Initially, some characters may be angry with you or make mention of what happened, but as time goes on it becomes more hazy to all players and eventually fades completely with characters simply being gone and it no longer figuring as to how they died.

It's really just the type of game it is and since it's an ongoing they don't really have much choice but to even everything out so that all the important stuff is the same across the board no matter what decisions each player makes.

Aside from the players who favor one ending or character saying other players will simply be forced to play with whatever character TT chooses and aside from "new protagonist and cast," are there any other ideas people have as to how this could possibly resolve?

Isn´t it 5? And different ways to get the Alone one?

Also...I think they´ll just kill whoever you´re with 10 minutes into the episode and tie all the endings together in the first half ot S3E1.

5 endings, or 7 with different variations.

    -Go to Wellington with AJ

    -Leave with Kenny and AJ

-Go to Howe's with Jane and AJ

-Go to Howe's with Jane, AJ and the family

    -Go alone, Jane is alive

    -Go alone, Kenny is alive

    -Go alone, both are dead

  • Nailed it.

I only played the one and could only figure 4 because of the ending I got. Didn't realize there was a way for them both to die. I'll go back and check those others out though. However, that makes even more sense because it means that each character will likely die in the same manner they died after the fight no matter what choices you made and so every player will be alone anyway.

  • While we're on the topic of endings, lets discuss a bit about the alone ending. The walker on the ground was damaged and crippled. Could this be implied that someone had recently been there? Or at the least taken the same path? Or did that walker just run into a bad leg breaking incident?

  • It didn't occur to me but anything could have happened.
