For those who ended with *****

edited September 2014 in The Walking Dead

For those who ended w/ Kenny, what do you want S3 to start up with? I would personally like Kenny to not die in the 1st ep, but that's wishful thinking, although I hope it happens :) I think it'd be nice to start right after leaving from Wellington.

I will take anything with Clem and Kenny in season 3.

Well...he has the determinant curse....i don't know, TT can screw around with Kenny whenever....but i doubt they'd pull a "Omid" on us again, maybe you get separated? and then at the end he ends up with Christa? maybe starting off as a new character and you meet Kenny and Clementine then you get separated from Kenny and have to help Clementine?

What I think is going to happen is that Kenny will appear as "Missing" as well as Jane

Wasn't planning on disagreeing with anyone anyway.

  • I'm all for Kenny, but why would TT make them if they aren't canon?

  • I have no idea what these comments mean but... I killed Kenny and left Jane so I can't start with Kenny or Jane.

  • None of the endings are cannon, it's just people like him that are extremely salty that Kenny's ending wasn't the most gotten ending, so they try and make stupid lies about it being the "correct" ending just to balance their sodium levels.

  • 1% Master race.

Welcome to the 1 percent, my friend.

  • Actually, I hate my ending. So I don't think I can be part of the "master race".

    1% Master race.

  • It was joke, I'm not a big fan of that ending either. It feels so wrong to me.

Actually, I hate my ending. So I don't think I can be part of the "master race".

  • I don't love it either, though at the end of my game 69% killed Kenny and only 22% ended alone. It was clear to me that's the way it had to go. Once I saw Kenny was going to kill Jane without even hearing what had happened, I had to stop him from killing her. The baby could have died any number of ways during the walk. Frozen to death most likely. I didn't really think he was dead though. They have trouble killing babies in games and on TV, but I didn't think she fabricated the whole thing to start a dangerous fight with Kenny. So then, once I found that out, I couldn't see any way to stay with Jane either.

  • Well actually salt is NaCl...

  • Kenny and Clem will go off on an adventure and Clem will very soon meet a bunch of new people who, for some reason, get much more priority than Kenny and Kenny will just stand there and smile a lot desperately trying not to look like a determinate character as Telltale even more desperately tries to hold off pulling an Omid. Eventually Kenny will just vanish and we won't even notice and someone many years from now will make a thread titled "What happened that Kenny guy?".

  • Carley and Doug has the determinant curse, but they appear in 3 episodes and they had more participation than others determinant characters :)

Actually, according to stats, it's the 22.7%.

Welcome to the 1 percent, my friend.

  • I started another thread for this, but I don't think he'll just vanish. I think both characters will likely die early in the first episode, or they'll go away never to return. In which case, you'll have whatever your story is from the end of season two and other players will have theirs, while all of the endings eventually link up in the end with the characters being dead, or at the very least, gone. The style of game it is, an ongoing with player choices, means that there's no way TT could keep 4 or 5 different eventualities going. At least, I don't think they can.

  • this is just too much, my god *giant face palm

  • Considering the fact that there are 5 possible endings of Season 2 and also considering the fact that Kenny and Jane are both determined characters, i unfortunately believe that Telltale will decide to kill them off rather sooner then later.

But hey...any minute my Clem can spent together with Kenny is worth the effort.

You still don't understand it... Do ya?

There are 5 endings, there is no way for us to play as Clementine/continue her story, there's just no chance that'll happen, and if it will, there ought to be tons of complaints, some will like how their story continues, while others will not be pleased, it's too much work to branch 5 endings into a decent plot.. It will either be a whole new story, or something I personally prefer, taking a character like Molly, or Lilly, and continuing their story, getting a different point of view over the characters you played as, and see where the unknown characters ended up.

  • You know what I meant. The base formula

There is no one salt. Salt is a category.

  • I would like for Clem to become a teen 13yo and then she leaves wellington in search of kenny. aj stays at wellington.

  • It's not that hard, they would only need to do 5 diferent beginnings so (for example) you can end up in Wellington.

-Ending of Clem staying in Wellington and Kenny leaving:
You just stay there and do some useless and generic shit meanwhile. You encounter the family in there and the relationship is neutral.

-Ending of Clem not wanting to enter Wellington:
Kenny dies somehow and you remember Wellington, so you go back there. You encounter the family in there and the relationship is neutral.

-Ending of Clem killing Kenny and leaving WITH Jane WITHOUT the family:
Something bad happens and you go looking for Wellington, then something like what happened in Kenny's ending, Jane tells you to get inside Wellington and leave her out alone. You encounter the family in there and your relationship is poor.

    -Ending of Clem leaving alone:
You somehow make it to Wellington and they let you in. You encounter the family in there and the relationship is neutral.

-Ending of Cleam leaving WITH Jane and WITH the family:
Something happens and you have to get separated. Kenny's ending-like situation and you get inside Wellington while Jane leaves. You encounter the family inside and the relationship is good.

  • I'm afraid AJ will die. And Kenny will try to help him, and die in the case.

Seems too forced to me, I'd rather start clean, but that's me.

Plus, I'd really like to play as Molly :3

  • I agree with all of this. I want a fresh new start with a new character. IMO I believe that's why our Clem had so many different endings to choose from because it would give us a better sense of finality in Clem's story.

    Cl = chlorine
    NaCl = sodium chloride :P

I KNOW! Salt is Sodium and Chlorine right? So I'm saying you didn't have to correct me, because I said "just to balance their sodium levels" salt is part sodium! Do you still not understand what I'm getting at here?
