Just got a brilliant idea for Season 3
What if we somehow found Lee's wife? Wouldn't that be... like omg omg??? XD. Maybe you just find her sometime during the season and you become close friends and then one day she starts talking about a story about her husband ( Lee ) and how she misses him and wishes she never cheated on him, causing him to be sent to prison for life, etc... Then Clem starts to notice a relation between them and she says "wait... LEE? Lee Everett." That would be something now wouldn't it. Do you think it would be good for the storyline?

omg that would be fucking amazing
AND WHAT IF THE FAMILY YOU MEET AT THE END OF SEASON 2 (Determinant) WEREN'T ACTUALLY TOGETHER? I MEAN A GINGER, A SOMEWHAT BLACK WOMAN, END UP HAVING AN EVEN DARKER SKIN TONE SON. Bullshit. WHAT IF THE MOTHER WAS ACTUALLY LEE'S WIFE?
Shit I left CAPS lock on...
That's interesting. Never actually thought about that
Yeah. You want to know the sad thing? I made a thread about that family and a theory. Guess what? NO ONE REPLIED. I love you OverDrive. Will you marry me?
Uhhhh...sure... why not?!? lol
Bullshit.
Wut?
My new OTP.
Um.... Lee... killed his wife
Unless I'm quite mistaken, he only killed the Senator she was banging.
I've got an even better Idea for the next and all subsequent seasons. What if Telltale, and TWDG, and Lee all got to keep their remaining dignity and we all just quit trying to find a way to absolutely ruin the dramatic impact of Lee's tragic and heroic end by trying to shoehorn him or some aspect of him back into the story?
Could be adopted
Hmm, I saw an interview with Lee's VA where he says that he killed both of them.
Come to think of it, I don't think he ever says that he killed her in game.
Here's the interview:

Indeed he does. Right on for sharing that. I don't know that that's enough for me to accept it as canon, but its definitely enough of a sticking point that I'll probably dig a little deeper tomorrow once I'm done with all my shit. I don't feel like fucking with it right this second. I'll be sure to keep you updated if i find out anything definitive.
Well. damn dude. It was just a "what if" thing.
Yeah, that was maybe a bit harsh. I'm just losing patience fast with the "Bring Lee back!" crowd. You're right. That's not quite what this is. But wanting to either see Walker Lee or hoping Lee got lucky... real lucky is like saying Hamlet was so good they should do a sequel.
Sorry, I just haven't been able to post this in a long time and really wanted to. When has a sloth not added to the conversation?
But seriously, that would be WAAAY too many deus ex machinas for me (dei ex machina?). Maybe Telltale just go the full monty and have Clementine run into a group with Lee's wife, Christa, and Lilly. The antagonists can be a group led by Vernon and Arvo.
Thumbs up just for the line "Hamlet was so good they should do a sequel."
No, he didn't.
He only killed the Senator.
When you speak to Hershel in the barn, and he asks where's his family/wife/girlfriend, Lee has the option to say. "No wife." and will continue to say how she's up in Virginia which is EXACTLY where the Cabin group were.

Thanks for shedding light on that.. Virginia makes more sense than what I had originally thought as well, considering Parker's Run. Always wondered why you wouldn't skirt Appalachia to the west on a foot journey to Southern Michigan from Savannah, though. Probably because of the reduced Walker population in mountainous areas.
If you answer that way, does it say that you lied to Hershel at the end of the episode?
Vernon is dead
I don't think so. Considering that's the only question he has about Lee's family.
And, I can confirm now that answering "no wife anymore" does "not" change the statistic "did you lie to Hershel" statistic, which means that Lee was for sure in cannon telling the truth
I guess he didn't kill her
I think it would make more sense and would actually be more interesting if Lee's wife had the opposite reaction you're suggesting. That she just remembers Lee as a pushy ex-husband who snapped and murdered a man when he caught her cheating on him. We never get the full picture of what their relationship was like, but Lee can tell the Stranger about how they fought and clearly has a lot of personal regret in his voice about what happened between them.
With that her character wouldn't be channeling nostalgia for Lee, but actually challenging it, Clem and even the player about someone we thought we knew really well. Provided you developed her into a proper character first, and then later it's revealed she was ALSO Mrs. Everett, it could be made for an interesting character dynamic.
How about if we found Lee's great uncle! stooopid
