Yeah, well The Wolf Among Us was based off of Fables, and Hinterkind is a fairly new comic that's based in an apocalyptic future which was brought on by mythical monsters rather than zombies or war.

Yeah. When I read about it online, I just had to start reading them. There's only 12 issues out (I have two to catch up on, lol) but they're really interesting! You have to pay attention to some parts more than others, because you only start to understand how things work and the conditions of everything several issues in. It's stays kind of vague in that regard.

My favorite character is Starla!
You can pretty much start anywhere, especially with a superhero like Batman.
Court of Owls, City of Owls, Knightfall, No Man's Land, Detective Comics (New 52), Batman: Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, HUSH, Batman and Robin (Pre New 52, with Dick Grayson as Batman, and Damian Wayne as Robin), Batman and Robin (New 52), Batman Incorporated, Legends of the Dark Knight, Death in the Family, and eventually read Death of the Family when you finish a couple of those titles.
If you want something that might be similar to Fables, you should check out the other DC Vertigo series.
Anybody have any suggestions for a comic series? I'm close to being all caught up on Fables (which is very good), so does anyone know any co… moremics similar to Fables that I could read?
Also, I always wanted to read some Batman comics, but I never know where to start. Any suggestions there?

Each volume is a different story, but it is about like in the North and the wars that take place there. There is a lot of blood, death, love, and revenge. It is awesome.

Due to the fact that I'm crazily obsessed with 'The Wolf Among Us' right now, I keep myself busy by reading the Fables comics while I'm impatiently waiting for a sequel to this brilliant game. The comics are VERY good but not as good as the game (that's just my personal opinion of course). I'm in the middle of reading them but I think I know the whole story because I couldn't resist reading all the comics spoilers on the internet.
About non-telltale related comic books? Saga is AMAZING. Absolutely love it!

Finally caved in and bought Saga. Love it. I'm probably going to buy volume two tomorrow. I really like Marko and Alana, but there's just something about The Will. He's an awesome character so far.

they're about on issue 24 in singles btw. oh and a hardcover deluxe edition collecting issues 1-18 is coming out on November 25th so you might wanna get that.

I was a big fan of Batman Beyond, and somehow missed that it came back in comic form in 2010. So I decided to pick up Hush Beyond. The art is a little weird, but the story is awesome. The show never let you know what Dick Greyson had been up to since the Bruce Wayne Batman days, other than the fact that he and Bruce weren't on speaking terms. This comic did a great job of bringing him into the Batman Beyond universe. It's supposed to tie the regular DC Universe in with the DC Animated Universe, but it really does more of the latter (with references to Return of the Joker), which is fine by me because I'm more of a DCAU fan than a regular DC Comics fan anyway.
I'm starting to read the ongoing Batman Beyond series now. It's graphic style is more along the lines of the Batman Beyond television series, which is a good thing. I'm done with the first arc (issues 1-8) and I'm pretty happy with it so far. I read the digital version of Hush Beyond through Comixology. I liked it enough that I'm going to try to pick up the trade paperback version. I'm not sure about the ongoing series yet.
yeah batman is pretty cool. i'm glad to see so many people reading comics, makes me happy. comics are best because they're like movies and novels in one but you can do more than both those mediums.

Saga, because that's amazing, currently waiting until I have spare cash to buy the last issue and finally catch up, would be easier if I hadn't just moved to another city and wasn't broke.
Ms. Marvel which is pretty funny and generally entertaining, plus Kamala is awesome.
Locke & Key which is a pretty awesome comic about Magic Keys, it's fairly violent despite the fact that the main cast are teenagers and kids but it's pretty cool, written by Joe Hill who is Stephen King's son which explains the setting, anyway it's really good I'd recommend it to everyone that likes mystery stuff.
My latest comic purchases were the first few issues of Fables: The Wolf Among Us, and the The Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy trilogy (which I got through The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy kickstarter).
The former is really neat for adding some insight into Telltale's storyline. I only read the first part of the Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy trilogy, but it's awesome. It's about a world filled with monsters where Dog and his sidekicks (my favorite is the demon trapped in a little girl's body) try to stop monsters from terrorizing humans, and humans from terrorizing monsters (the first story had a great story that showed that humans can sometimes be greater monsters than the monsters themselves). It's been translated from Portuguese into English and published by Dark Horse Comics as three trade paperbacks or through their digital store. I highly recommend it.
Yeah I read saga as well and I've heard great things about ms marvel and Locke and key. You should read marvel's runaways written by Brian k vaughn the writer on saga.

Yeah i know its based on Fables. Mythical monsters instead of zombies or war? That sounds really awesome.
