Any football (soccer) fans?
I opened the football thread here excited, but alas it was about Yank football.
Anyone else a fan of english football?
I support Manchester United in the premiership and Reading Royals in the championship

Not precisely a fan, but I do watch World Cups and stuff like that. When I hear "football", I always think of this game first. Comes with being European, I reckon.
Who do you support in World Cups generally?
Either Germany or Netherlands. Don't want to support France, simply because it's a national team of Africa rather than France. I'm not trying to sound racist or anything, but France's national team becomes less French every year. I also support England, but they didn't get far in either of latest World (or even Euro) Cups, so, it all comes down to either Germany or Netherlands, though, mostly Germany.

Hell yeah! Same here. I been a fan of them for years. I love the English Premier League. Sadly, we don't get much coverage of it on TV here in New Zealand.
So many man utd fans here, I'm a Liverpool fan, not having the best start to the season but at least we have champions league football :-)

An english team I like is Chelsea and my alltime favorite team is Real Madrid.

Absolutely! It is actually the best and most fun to watch, as opposed to Spain where you know for a fact that either Real Madrid or Barcelona will be the champions at the end of the season. The team I support is Chelsea.
