I write two Fanfictions about 'The Walking Dead' at Fanfiktion.de, and one for 'Breaking Bad'.
One TWD fanfiction set in Georgia also (bu… moret not hurting the comic/game canon), one in Germany, near my home town. Needed that lol :P
The BB fanfiction about what happened to the characters after the series finale (not getting into any spoilers here).
And I once had a idea about a story which I found really good: An old man, who survived the apocalypse (note: the apocalypse was like 40-50 years ago), meets some teenagers who were born into the post-apocalyptic world, and he tells them about...everything. About things like money, microwave food and cars, what he went through in the apocalypse, stuff like that.
Found it a great concept, sadly never made it to paper (yet).
And then I have my text-based adventure game 'The Story Of Catherine', with Episode 2 scheduled to release this year.
Problem is: I haven't updated most of these for at least two months each. I think it was more than I could handle.
Just make out all new characters in the universe the game is set in. They don't even have to interact with any main characters.
In fact, … moreI would only give characters of the game short, canon appereances, if at all, and make the rest of the story all by yourself.
Maybe your character did something that caused something to happen in the main game, but never appears.
Imo, it's way more interesting to read canon fanfiction with all new characters than 'modified' fanfiction of a media. But I still like those a lot.
Sadly, too much it seems. I've noticed severe lack of quality in all of those, as I always have to think in other perspectives (I released one fanfiction weekly, and managed more or less for three months, but then it was too much).
I can only give you the tip not to overdo it (like I did) if you want to write more stories.
When I finally released a new chapter for one TWD fanfiction, noone reviewed it (there were 1-3 guys before). Was a big disappointment, and of course that doesn't exactly motivate you to write on. Haven't updated this fanfiction for two months now.

The biggest thing I worry about is keeping a characters personality consistent, so, doing Kenny and Clem in a FF can be easy sometimes, and harder at other times.
I read your fan fiction and I thought it was amazing, I loved the story and how you did it. Good job! Keep em coming! I'm no English wiz so I really can't give you advice, but I really did like it.

And you got me intrigued:P Curious as to how you'll progress the character of Dani and Whittaker (as they already seem different from each other). I awoke to the sound of a diesel engine puttering softly. Its not an uncommon sound since I live under th… moree overpass commonly used by the military. What was odd was the fact the source of the sound was parked on the edge of the street. From the faint light of the street lamp I could make out what the vehicle was, a military troop transport. Why would they have parked there? I asked myself. There was no one around and against my better judgment I got up to go look at it. I should have know, as soon as I reached the street a voice from behind me said " don't move, American". Russian, that was easy to tell. Like an idiot I did a full 180 degree turn on my heels to come face to face with a big Russian, and his two friends. Then I came into contact with the stock of the soldiers gun then I hit the road.

I am making the fanfiction public, but not sure what to do with the original concept yet.
A few weeks ago I started working on another chapter for my Fable character, but hadn't finished it yet due to my mojo being depleted. However, I was inspired to finally make a drawing for him and the major characters in my story, so that's been happening. :P Currently in the process of making another picture too.

I love writing; like video games and other various activites, it helps me to decompress from the day. I've written a few on the 'Create your own Fable' thread over at TWAU community.

On the other side of the door stood a tall trim Russian officer. He scanned us over carefully then looked at a list he had. " when I say your name, please step out of the vehicle and to your left." Ha, he said please as if we had a choice. "Whittaker Greene." He began. Whittaker stood and left without saying a word. "Dani Greene." He said. So their related. Dani stood and left but he looked at me before leaving the truck and said, " sorry your part of this." And left the truck. I knew the next name would be mine but I refused to stand. " Steven Miller." The officer said. A man in the back I hadn't seen before stood and looked at me " welcome to hell." He said and left the truck. The officer looked at his list and back at me a few times and said " your not on the list. Ivan! Ivan, take this man to where the others are!" The man who must have been Ivan answered " you got it boss" And with that the engine spewed to life. I couldn't help but to notice the surrounding area, such a beautiful field that seemed to stretch for miles, it also seemed to be on top of a hill with somewhat of a forest surrounding it. I wonder... My thoughts were cut short by three sharp gunshots. As the truck pulled off I got a glace of what the shots were directed at , three men face down in a field. Dani, Whittaker, Steven. All dead, just like that. For the first time I noticed what was in the field, bodies, the field was filled with lifeless bodies. The truck moved slowly so I also got a view of the shooters, three Russian soldiers standing around cleaning their guns and boots like they didn't just murder three people. The door flew shut leaving me in the dark alone. I began to wonder what k could've done, like it was my fault they were dead. For a long time the silence was matched only by the noise of the engine.

wow i'm glad i found this thread XD. I have an issue where i have ideas to write about, but i procrastinate and afriad to type it out because the fear of people not liking it. i try to be like professionals when i'm a basic writer lol.
