  • It's not really that far-fetched ... WW 3 is going to happy in our life time, most certainly in the next 20- 30 years, but it could start tomorrow. We don't know. And I also know you're not a religious person but the signs in the bible are beginning to all line up. We're really in for a shit storm either way.

World war 3? Okay, thats a little outrageous to claim will happen because of a disease.

  • He is probably referring to Isil.

You know the next war Americans are going to be dragged into, because no one else will do anything.

  • ...Sure....

You know its okay to prepare for the worst case scenario but you all are going a little TOO far. Its like bringing a raft to the desert to prepare for a flood.

  • Yes I did. It's bull shit. It's not just the family but there are other people trying to incite a race debate about this. It's fuckin' ridiculous.

I ignore it because it's BS, that family is going to come under serious fire for what they have done and might be responsible for. And I heard Liberia was going to charge the man if he lived, so, they might as well charge the family for what's happened if any of them get it.

  • Dude, I'm not gonna believe in some world wide peace, look at human history. It's a never ending cycle of the rise and fall of civilizations. I'm just not going to believe our generation is going to be the one who gets skipped over or gets lucky enough to break that cycle.

I'd rather be safe than sorry. And if stocking up on food and water and supplies is like 'bringing a raft to the desert' then that's your opinion.

  • I doubt they'll charge the family with anything. They most likely have the disease, they stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with this guy for days. Personally I'm sick of this stupid Political Correctness bullshit, MSNBC said its racist to believe that the US should block flights from the infected countries., instead we should join hand and hand with them and help them deal with this disease.

    This country going to shit.

  • I said its okay to prepare by stocking up on food, water, and supplies. I said that, hell everyone should do that in case of a natural disaster or incident. However planning for WW3 or "The coming of God" is a bit extreme, thats what that simile was addressing.

    Obama has a plan!

To sit and do nothing, until 2016 Then when the elections happen he will pawn the problem off on someone else, and it will be 10 times worse.

I don't know how much worse it's gonna get, and that's exactly why we all need a plan.

  • I agree, I think that the global medical community needs to get to work on how to cure it, vaccinate people, or just help treat it. I still think we need to have better measures when it comes to how we are going to deal with incoming persons from the hot zones, but I still think it might be a good idea to block off travel too and from that area. Not the entire world though.

  • As far as the 'coming of God' thing goes, I'm not ruling it out, and even if it was my number 1 thing to be worrying about, there's nothing I can do to get ready for it, and nobody can, I just mentioned that bible warns of certain things happening.

I should've just kept my fuckin' mouth shut when it comes to speaking of religion.

  • Good thing he's out in 2016! Oh, but you remember he and his admin blamed Bush for everything these past 8 years? If it wasn't Bush, it was racism, if it wasn't racism, it was conservatives, if it wasn't conservatives and republicans, it was everyone else.

And now I brace myself for the hate. But fuck it, this country has gone to shit. It's a shame. :(

If you lived in TX you might be feeling a bit differently. Just sayin'. I'm not an alarmist by any definition of the word, it's just that my family has come to an agreement of our plan in case shit hits the fan.
