its legendary i can't believe you don't know about it.
it started off as a 6 volume series and then was later turned into a movie.
a basic plot of the movie and manga.
The film depicts a dystopian version of Tokyo in the year 2019, with cyberpunk tones. The plot focuses on teenage biker Tetsuo Shima and his psychic powers, and the leader of his biker gang, Shotaro Kaneda. Kaneda tries to prevent Tetsuo from releasing the imprisoned psychic Akira.

its two hours but its a classic seriously.
I can only think of 3 animes I've watched.
One Piece: I'm sorry, but the anime is horrible. The manga series is the best manga I've ever read. But it sucks as anime.
Attack on Titan: Pretty cool action scenes, characters fall a little flat, imo, this series is mostly about titan action. Maybe I'm mistaken.
Death Note: Really awesome piece of art. To everyone who hasn't watched it: Do it, do it nao!
Excellent character development and an ongoing conflict between 'good and bad' (of which the lines are blurred), and a very interesting concept. It was hard to let this anime go.

don't really like it. Then again, I never gave it a real chance.

1) Ghost in the Shell 2) Cowboy Bepop. Other than that I don't watch anime. Back in the day I liked Trigun. In middle school I loved Sailor Moon. I watch Ranma 1/2 to practice Spanish because I liked the books when I was a kid.

God I love that theme song. Don't remember much about the show. Only that it probably jump-started puberty for me.
All 5 of my examples are simply the best. There are some other animes out there, but for me these are the best( as long as I can remember)

Got into AoT recently back I new it was good from the very first scenes. Really well made. And I had my doubts about Corpse Party as well, but 15 minutes in I was like "It is 3 in the morning. KEEP PLAYING!". Once you get into it it won 't let you out. Also I am a gal. Common mistake, dan 't worre bout it.
