I know it sounds crazy at first, but think about it. Kenny needed a lot of luck to survive that cluster he was in. Why cant the same luck be given to Luke. The scenario above could very well happen in the real world.
Of course, the chances are slim, but whenever you think of chances, think of Kenny. How the HELL could he have survived that cluster? Miracles happen .
Recently I sent somebody a message to help them with something in their writing, because they hadn't written in the effects of hypothermia. … moreThis is what I sent them copy pasted from a site...
[Mild hypothermia]
If someone has mild hypothermia (generally with a body temperature of 32-35˚C), the symptoms aren't always obvious but they can include:
•constant shivering
•tiredness
•low energy
•cold or pale skin
•fast breathing (hyperventilation)
[Moderate hypothermia]
Moderate cases of hypothermia (generally with a body temperature of 28-32˚C) can include symptoms such as:
•being unable to think or pay attention
•confusion
•loss of judgement and reasoning (someone with hypothermia may decide to remove clothing despite being very cold)
•difficulty moving around
•loss of co-ordination
•drowsiness
•slurred speech
•slow, shallow breathing (hypoventilation)

Well, they did have that patch where you couldn't shoot Mike anymore for the PS3 versions. So yeah, I totally would go for a "Luke lives" patch to Season 2.

Either because they plan to use Mike in the future, or it was out of Clem's character to shoot an unarmed man, I believe Telltale thought of a "Leave AJ " choice, but decided not to use it, because they don't think "she's there" yet.
By the way, when you choose the Threaten Mike option, notice how it looks weird? That would have been your cue to shoot him and Arvo would fire in retaliation. Which is why one of the top choices is "Did you ask to leave with Mike?" Because it was a fast fix to get rid of the shoot Mike choice.
Wow, Telltale made some extremely stupid decisions this season. I could literally write a list of everything they did wrong.
Thanks for the information though! Really interesting!

Yeah, Luke's totally alive.
Not like he got pulled down underwater by a walker and possibly got bitten if he didn't drown first/drown in front of Clementie or anything.

I know how you feel, it's the worse feeling in the world. When Kenny 'died' in season 1, everyone told me I was in denial because I said he was alive. I got told that for a year until his return in season 2 episode 2.
But this? This is different. Kenny had a chance of surviving. Luke? There's no way. He either drowned, got bit, or drowned some more. There's no way he coulda gotten out.

It'd be neat if Telltale games adds a random update to season 2 where you have the option to save Luke.
Now that's an update I'd gladly pay for.

You could have originally shoot Mike in the PS3 versions?! Good God, why in Gods name would they change that!

It's mermaids.
Shirtless Luke it is!
Well, I'm sorry.... For speaking the TRUTH.
It isn't the truth... It can't be, he's alive, he got out. He's Luke, he always comes back... Can you please let us dream?
