Telltale Gamers who played Tomb Raider, What is your Weapon of Choice?
I'm a newbie to Tomb Raider 2013 so I don't know if my weapon is the most effective one at killing enemies. I find the pistol as the most effective (I fully upgraded the pistol). I'm only at Mountain Base Stage so I don't really know which is the best.
But the first time I used the rifle, I was like shooting the 2 enemies running towards me after the blinding light (first I tried holding the fire button while aiming at the enemies but the recoil was too much, then I tried firing like 3 bullets then hold for a millisecond then firing again just to stop the recoil but still it doesn't kill the 2 assaulting enemies (i was even shooting at their heads/necks) I'm not sure if there's a glitch though, 'coz when I tried the pistol, I managed to kill the one on the left (Did I do it right or was the game looking for a QTE[shoot their legs and do finishers] that's why the 2 can't be killed?) and when the slowmo stopped I used the rifle--It took me 5-8 bullets to take 1 down, while with the pistol I only need 1 to the head (2 to the chest) and it doesn't even need to be the head.
But then I also heard many people say, the best weapon is the bow, because they claim you don't actually need to charge your shots to kill.

I do vary with all the weapons I used though I do remember favouring the machine gun.

I personaly loved the bow, it was so good. But I went with the handgun for the most part, because it was faster. Now, in multiplayer, I used a shotgun cause it does massive damage if close to the enemy and the handgun cause it is good for longer distances and I am not a really big fan of the assault rifle.
I like the shotgun because it kills quicker up close. I especially use it in multiplayer

Pistol.
Pistols are more effective in any way (at least in real life).
And I mainly use pistols in video games, or a assault rifle maybe. But rarely Shotgun or Bow, latter only for stealth, former only for close combat (what they were designed for anyway). But usually pistols.
For me it's using the bow. It's great for using at long range and if you get the flame or explosive arrows you can do some serious damage.
Tomb Raider signed with Microsoft, so if your expecting a sequel you better have a XBone 1. Too bad no one will buy a Xbox for this game.
There was a rumor that it's only going to be a timed exclusive. idk. but hopefully it's true.
I never played the game, and now that they went with Microsoft, that put a sour taste in my mouth about the whole franchise.
My favorite weapon in the game would have to be either the fully upgraded handgun, since generally the handgun is my favorite weapon in any game, or the bow. The bow is best when it comes to stealth, since you don't get the silencer for the handgun unless you do DLC or you have to fully upgrade is at the end of the game. So, yeah, Bow is best for Stealth and I was a heavy stealth player and then handgun for head shots for the intense fights and then assault rifle for large groups of enemies.

Yeah i hate games that do this. I liked this one game called Fatal Frame, it was on the PS2/3 whatever, then the fourth installment is on the WII, the joke system.
I don't know if it's a glitch, but i tried shooting a warthog on the head with the reticle at it's full focus and it took me 5 shots. While on a bow only 1 --- And I sad to myself....WHY?
Depends on the situation, but I found I used the bow with flaming arrows the most.
As with most game I Just fully upgrade the pistol. oh and the bow I guess
